God knows no change, his instrument is the body and the mind is a bad monkey always changing

When you realise that God is not outside of you and separate from you, then you gain self-confidence. Then there is love, there is peace, there is truth and there is God. So first there must be self-confidence and love of God. What are you thinking about now? You are thinking about the body, but the body is just a water bubble. The body is just a dress, only a dress.

Devotee: Swami, you say that everything is God, but isn't the body also God? If everything is God, then the body must also be God?

Baba: You are asking about the body. You are thinking about the body, not of God. If you only think of God, then, for you, there will be only God. But now you are thinking of the body. The body is an instrument; it is made of matter; and matter is always changing. The world also is always changing, but God is never changing. God is the one unchanging spirit.

Mirror reflects, Mind perceives, Brain infers

“The fault is in the mirror that reflects, the mind that perceives, the brain that infers. What the mirror presents as true has no authenticity. The mirror is coated with dust and its face is not plain at all. God has no maya; He has no intention or need to delude, nor does He will that it should happen.”
Baba

What is reflection? In the case of my ex it is being lovely. That reflection has nothing to do with reality, he is not lovely in any way. In the case of the healer I mentioned under 'Bad monkey mind' is the reflection the wish to be an important healer, reflection it the need to be someone.
In the case of smearing minds, abuse and scandal in the Internet it is the same, only a smeary level of wanting to be someone and to know more than others do.

Bad monkey mind; break the silence

God is that friend and it is up to you to break the silence and bring Him into your life at every moment of the day.
God is love, and that is the easiest way to find Him, through love. If you keep your heart open and let love flow, God's love will fill you with divine energy and help you along the path, guiding you to overcome all obstacles.
It is a long journey, but it becomes shorter and easier once you share it with the Lord. He knows the path, and will guide you all the way to the very end, to ultimate liberation.
Baba

That is why Baba said inside in my dream, that it was a stupid thing to do.
I was talking with that guy, who has a bad monkey mind, about the interview, and I mentioned the questions Baba had asked the other, not me, that was a stupid thing to do.
It is about the reflection of the mind.

Disciplining his vehicles - the koshas; how to understand it?

Education is a problem in consciousness. It is a problem in soul-culture. This aspect, training of the soul, the atman, is much neglected in many of the modem schools!
India has, through the ages, recognised the truth that every student is a soul, that beyond everyone lie experiences of many lives, that a teacher must be a man of moral power and spiritual intuitions in order to be able to help the student to evolve by disciplining his vehicles (koshas).
These "vehicles", "koshas" are five. There is anna-maya kosha, the kosha of matter, the physical vehicle. There is the prana-maya kosha, the kosha of prana, the "vital" vehicle. There is mano-maya kosha, the kosha of manas, the mental vehicle. There is the vignana-maya kosha, the kosha of vignan, the vehicle of Higher Reason. There is the ananda-maya kosha, the kosha of anand (joy). And when that vehicle is well developed there is that self-realisation which involves emotional experience of Unity with All.
Baba

You know what I wonder, on which level we are. The physical it the body.
Then there is the vital vehicle, prana, air and it is in the breath. The mind is the mental vehicle, emotions must be on that mind level and going beyond it by higher reason or also intellect, discrimination.

Difference between calmness (self) and agitation (mind)

Can you calm down when you are agitated? Can you slow your breath when you are excited and are breathing fast? Can you silence your chattering mind for a moment so that you can listen to the intuitive messages that are waiting to break through the curtain of mental noise? If you can answer yes to these questions, you have already won your battles.
Let us face the person in the mirror.
For that is where change should begin.

Going beyond the mind, first the chattering of the mind gets louder before it calms down.

Don't eat without sharing

NEVER EAT ANYTHING WITHOUT SHARING IT WITH OTHERS

Baba narrated the story of Sudama - a co-student of Shri Krishna and Balaram in the ashram of their Guru Sandipani. Once when these students were collecting firewood in the forest, Krishna was thirsty and asked for some water. Sudama advised him not to drink water without eating something. Shri Krishna, therefore, rested his head on Sudama's lap and slept. After sometime Shri Krishna woke up and heard Sudama chewing something. Shri Krishna asked Sudama as to what he was eating. But, Sudama, although he was eating grams, told Shri Krishna a lie that he was not eating anything; but his teeth were chattering because of cold. Later, as a result of this, Sudama, although a churn of Lord Krishna, had to pass his life in utter poverty.
However, when he later offered Shri Krishna a handful of parched rice, earned by his wife with her own labour, Shri Krishna was pleased and gave him a golden mansion to live and enjoy.

Baba Himself never ate anything without sharing it with others.
Everyday He used to go out begging and whatever food was collected. He used to place it in the earthen bowl in the Masjid. Some beggars used to pinch 3-4 breads and dogs and birds used to eat out of it; but Baba never drove them away.
Whenever any devotee offered Him fruits and richly cooked food, He hardly tasted it and distributed amongst the devotees present. Every afternoon, when in the Dwarkamai, the meal was served and ready to cat, Baba used to call out for Bade Baba (a Fakir from Malegaon) and used to make him seat next to Him on His left respectfully as an honoured guest. Not only this, but after the meal, Baba used to pay him Rs. 50 as dakshina and walk with him upto 100 paces to see him off.

If alone, we should offer it to him to not eat only for the body and the senses.

I adore the fire, Agnimile purohitam

Agnimile purohitam yajnasya devam rtvijam hotaram ratna dhatamam.
  • I adore the Fire, the sacrificial priest, luminous vibrations of Truth, the fierce warrior, the bestower of delight.
  • We invoke the fire of enthusiasm, the gateway to higher knowledge, the slayer of the demon of lethargy and the bestower of delight.
Rig Veda

That was the basic Vedic teaching of the Maharishi and I loved it because it invoked the light, the fire. It is the first verse of the Rig Veda. And it was said, who knows it is a leader, therefore, he made out of TM people all leaders.

It was said that in Agni all basic teaching was contained.
A stands for the absolute
G for the stop for the relative manifestation and the
Ni was between the two and after the stop binding back to the self, to the A, the principle of the knower of the self.

The risk; how to get a right answer

I am absolutely fine. No pain at all. The accident happened while one of the boys was working near the door. When I suddenly opened the door from behind, he was caught by surprise and fell on me and so did the chair. You see, the boy is okay, the chair is okay, this happened to me. My hip joint was crushed. But, I have no pain and I am always happy.
Baba

That is what Baba said in an interview. He talks of himself always as beyond the body. If he is fine, it doesn't mean the body is fine too.
Atman is never sick, he cannot get sick and a Sai Baba will never identify himself with the body, that is certain.

Children of Bliss - and fraud in the air

I expect from you only one thing i.e., you should transform yourselves into ideal children full of bliss, the very embodiments of Atma, proving all this to the world by your behavior and conduct in life. That alone is True Education. All other types of education are only its limbs and parts.
Baba

Baba's writings - Vahinis

I met my own impatience. Looking at it, my impatience, too much is written, too many people, everything seems too big. Writing my blog I go by what I feel and find a quote and write it down. It feels centered in me.
If I have to understand that fraud and illusion have the same pattern, that is an insight. It is the same pattern. We just didn't see it on all levels.
But only to a certain limit.
After I can read, but my eyes don't see, I read, but I am inside too upset, too impatient to get it.
Why I mentioned it, because we both wrote at the same time about fraud? The question is why? But maybe there is no answer.
Why was it in the air? Will we know one day?
What is behind that word - fraud?

Why was it in the air?
We get aware of it and learn to look at it on different levels.
The market level is the big picture. Has it invaded us? Or was it always there and now we have to face it?

Equanimity and Fortitude

If the senses keep to their places there is no reason to fear. It is only when they start to contact the objects around, the twin distractions of joy and grief are produced.
When you hear someone defaming you, you experience anger and grief; but there is no such agitation if the words do not fall on your ears. The attraction of the senses to the objects is the cause of grief and its twin, joy. So long as the world is there, sense-object contact cannot be avoided; similarly till the time one has the burden of previous births, one cannot escape the joy-grief complex. But of what use is it to wait till the waves are silenced, before you wade into the sea for a shower?
The wise one learns the trick of avoiding the blows of the onrushing waters and the drag of the receding waves. Wear the armour of fortitude (thithiksha), and weather the blows of good and bad fortune. Fortitude means equanimity in the face of opposites, that is, putting up boldly with duality.
Baba

It is impossible to not be in contact with sense objects. To not get identified with the sense objects is possible.

Reverence and Respect for the Vedantic directions

The three main Vedantic directions:

The Advaita in essence translated as "That,"
which refers to the ultimate reality (Brahman), and 'tvam' (the individual self jiva) as exactly the same, unity.

The Vishishtadvaita is 'that', the individual self, as part of the whole.

The Dvaita interpretation 'atat tvam asi',
meaning "You are not that". It is practiced as "Neti, neti", that means 'not this, not that'.

The Advaita essence as 'that' we find also in the light, the inner light same light as the ocean of light, the universal being, therefore, they are one.
It has to be realized, it is not a state of mental speculation, but only real if realized.
There are three levels of realization of light.
I am in the light. The light is in me. I am the light.

Fortitude, waiting for the change

Generally, people seek only happiness and joy; under no circumstance do they desire misery and grief! They treat happiness and joy as their closest well-wishers, and misery and grief as their sworn enemies. This is a great mistake. When you are happy, the risk of grief is great; fear of losing the happiness will haunt you. Misery prompts inquiry, discrimination, self-examination and fear of worse things that might happen. It awakens you from sloth and conceit.
Face the dualities of life with thithiksha (fortitude). But be aware, thithiksha is different from patience (Sahana). Patience is putting up with something; tolerating or bearing with it because you have no other choice. Fortitude is having the capacity to overcome it, but yet, disregarding it - that is the spiritual discipline.
Putting up with the external world of duality with inner equanimity and peace is the path that will lead you to liberation. Bear all, with analytical discrimination - this type of patience will yield good results.
Baba (thought for the day)

‘Over the counter’ is for me still kind of hard to get, also to understand how it could get out of hand and become such a fraud.
I understand the principal of illusion seen as fraud better than the market.

Inkan Prophecies; are we part of the solution or part of the problem?

The Inkan Prophecies talk about a new human who will walk the earth; a human that is “homoluminous,” who glows with light.

Question: What are the 2012 prophecies?
Answer of the Shaman: They are indigenous prophecies of the Americas. You find them among the Hopi, Maya, Inka, and the Apache. December 21, 2012 is an astronomical alignment that is going to be the beginning of a new era of a new age. These prophecies are very optimistic. They’re not the apocalyptic prophecies of Christianity of the end of the world. They’re really the beginning of the world. According to the Maya, humanity first appears in the planet on December 21, 2012. So we’re still proto-humans.
We’re still half cooked.

They say that this is happening between 2012 and 2020. But, on December 21, 2012, what you have is the tipping point. We’re either part of the solution then or we’re part of the problem.
One of the interesting things the Inka say is that theres "no place in the world" that we’ll be safe. Absolutely no place. But there will be safe people. You can become a safe person.
A. Villoldo

The Catholic Priest and how sad to read that

"Here we have come to the end of my history as a priest. This is the chapter of my life which will now be filed away. I felt that I owed this explanation to the reader, even though the affair is of no longer of any concern to me: to be suspended from certain ceremonies, said to be divine, certainly does not preclude access to the Divine. I can no longer go to Mass, no longer lose myself in the warm atmosphere of a midnight Mass, to be moved by the sweetness of Christmas Carols, but I can always speak heart-to-heart with the Lord, pray to Him, love Him, meet Him. Everyone can, because of this, even 'atheists' know how to pray. This is the real consolation, which no one will ever be able to take from me; there is not a single person in the whole world who can pry you away from God."
From the book 'A Catholic Priest Meets Sai Baba'

Begin the day with love. Fill the day with love. End the day with love that is the way to God.

Absolute and Relative Reality; only experience

Absolute Reality
According to the "Sarvasaara Upanishad", the first category, viz. Absolute Reality (Sath, or Paaramaarthika Sathya) is that which satisfies the following six criteria:
Unaffected by the past, present and future (Trikaalabaadhyam)
Pervading the past, present and future (Trikaalanusyuutam)
Always existing (Yadaasti thath Sathyarn)
One without a second (Ekameva Adviteeyam)
Free from differentiations based on intra-species, and intra-individual variations (Sajaati, Vijaati, Swagata Bheda Rahitam)
Basis for all manifestation (Sarva Kalpana Adhishtaanam)
This Absolute Reality designated as Atma or Brahman cannot be perceived by the senses and mind, but can be experienced only, in the transcendental state (Turiya).
Relative Reality
The second category, namely, "Relative reality", a combination of Sath and Asath (reality and unreality) is subdivided into two types: (a) "Vyaavahaarika Sathya" i.e. empirical (or Practical) Reality, and (b) "Praatibhaasika Sathya", i.e. Illusory or Imaginary Reality.
Sanathana Sarathi, September 1997

Fraud is Illusion; self-deception

This Absolute Reality designated as Atma or Brahman cannot be perceived by the senses and mind, but can be experienced only, in the transcendental state.
Baba

It means what it tells: experience, experience, experience..., and not mental speculation. Reality only, truth, law, and mental speculation is illusion.
If we talk of illusion in the West it is like, what is that?
We seem not to know where to begin to understand it.
But if we look at fraud, we can copy it and see that it has the same result, only fraud is in conflict with law.
Illusion is a state of mind which doesn't know reality in general and is in conflict with truth and truth is an unwritten law, the law of dharma, of righteous living.

Watch your Words, Action, Thoughts, Character and Heart.
Baba

Fraud in the air (pressure, rationalization, opportunity)

Faith is like our life breath. It is impossible to live even for a minute in this world without faith.
Baba
Yesterday I woke up there was just one word in the air 'fraud'.
I was not sure I understood it right, it was in English and I drove to work with the intention to look it up and to Google it.

Empire of love

The individualism of man can be cured only by the potent drug called "LOVE".
The forces of BROTHERHOOD have to overpower the negative influence of every individual and promote unity and strength.
I preach only one religion- Love for all, which alone can integrate the human race into a brotherhood of man, embedded in the maturity of the Divine. This relates man to man and mankind to God, thereby creating mutual understanding, cooperation and community life in peace and harmony. On this basis I want to build one humanity without any religious caste or other barriers in a universal empire of love which could enable My devotees to feel the whole world as their own family.

Baba

It was black and white, black and white, it was a patterns as I had seen it before between pink and grey, pink and grey, positive and negative, positive and negative and in the end was 'and what now?'

Equanimity and inner peace, all differences dissolve in the light

The most precious possession is equanimity, that is something we cannot give to anyone, even if we own it. For everybody it is hard to get. But we can talk about methods of self-discipline to others, with the help of serenity and inner peace (shanti) it can be obtained. Equanimity we cannot get by a higher standard of living, clothing, transistor radio, couches, air conditioning, etc.
Baba

It is the equanimity which is in question if there is no peace. With the focus on the light I went in direction of the inner Master and the feeling of going on in the presence of the yogi made it feel safe. It felt close to equanimity, what they called invincibility and peaceful inside.

Subtle Difference between Light and Mantra

All spiritual practice must be directed to the removal of the husk and the revelation of the kernel.
Baba

If we are on the wrong place, we cannot expect anything good. Today looking back and realizing I always had meditated with light, witnessed the light, been focused on light, I was different from the others. But with TM, which claimed to be everything, the difference got lost, as everything else gets lost. I was not like the others, but I was not aware of it. TM is that taking over, being so simple it infiltrated into everything.

Observe and Wait; the strenght of an elephant

“As the food as the mind, as the mind so the thoughts, as the thoughts so the action, as the action so the destiny.”
Baba

Observing thoughts, feelings, life situations, I tried to get back to the inner self. It was not a question of understanding yet, just a question of where it had gone. Everything felt ouside only and had really nothing to do with the inner self, and I didn't know where it had gone.

Soham Meditation, take in God, leave out Ego

What is the inner meaning of the Inhalation and exhalation processes, i.e., 'So - Ham'? 'So' means 'That' (God); 'Ham' means I. The sum and substance of this is, we have to take God into us ('So' -Inhalation) and leave out Ahamkaram ,i.e., ego ('Ham' - Exhalation). This is called "Hamsa Gayathri".
This Inhalation and Exhalation process goes on continuously for 21,600 times in a day in us. This means, you welcome God into you and drive out ego from you as many times. So long there is ego in you, you will never be happy.
Baba

The exhalation feels like 'not that', only on the breath level. We don't even need to think it, the breath does it, but we still need to be aware of the breath.

The absence of something (Osho)

Here a text, the words of Osho about something missing. The absence is painfull, and he explains why it cannot be solved on that level, because it is something which doesn't exist.
What is missing that is the light, therefore, they don't fight darkness directly, because it is not real, but it shows problems.
The missing light has to do with right understanding. We are not even aware that we have those problems, that is the absence of self-awarness. The same with empty values, it is the absence of light and right values. It is of no use to fight the wrong values, because they are the absence of something else. Therefore, I like that text, it makes it so clear.
What is missing in an 'empty Western shoe' is the absence of fullness, of real values and of light.
Baba tells that 'Yogis are our friends', because that is the missing light. With TM missing is the awarness of friendship, they just talk about technique. The missing link is the light, the relationship, if that is not there, what is left in the end is nothingness.
The text of Osho, a lot of text, anyhow I copied it. And don't worry about the contradiction, light is excluding darkness, whereas, in the dark the light is missing. The light never will be empty and the dark never will be full.
The body is the instrument and therefore, dark. But the self is awarness and observer and always light. The dark cannot see and the light is constantly growing awarness. And sexuality will always be on the mind level and the love of the higher self will always be in the light and go beyond it. That are basic things which never change.

The darkness of loneliness cannot be fought directly. It is something essential for everyone to understand, that there are a few fundamental things which cannot be changed. This is one of the fundamentals: you cannot fight with darkness directly, with loneliness directly, with the fear of isolation directly. The reason is that all these things do not exist; they are simply absences of something, just as darkness is the absence of light.

Spiritual lessons, after putting it into practice we only can share it

"Mastering the spiritual lessons is directly proportional to the extent of one’s patience and intelligent skill.
The texts of India insist on the value of actual practice and the need to confirm the truths only by experiencing their impact personally.
After mastering the texts and gaining experience in putting the lessons into actual practice, you not only receive bliss and grace, but you can also share the wisdom and the joy with others."

Tat tvam asi, I am that, Vedanta

The Mahavakyas are: (the big theorems)
  1. prajñānam brahma - "Consciousness is Brahman" Aitareya Upanishad
  2. ayam ātmā brahma - "This Self (Atman) is Brahman" Mandukya Upanishad
  3. tat tvam asi - "Thou art That" Chandogya Upanishad
  4. aham brahmāsmi - "I am Brahman" Brhadaranyaka Upanishad
Kanchi Paramacharya, in reference to the four Mahavakyas.
Tat Tvam Asi, one of the Mahavakyasm, Vedanta.
The self in its pure and original condition - is completely or partially identical with the "Ultimate Reality", the ground and cause of all phenomena.
The knowledge (jnanadetermines the experience of Moksha (liberation) or healing that accompanies the mystical union.
Another interpretation is expressed that the outside world is identical with the ego. (Wikipedia)

The three main Vedantic directions:
The Advaita in essence translated as "That," which refers to the ultimate reality (Brahman), and 'tvam' (the individual self jiva) as exactly the same.
The Vishishtadvaita is 'that', the individual self, as part of the whole.
The Dvaita interpretation 'atat tvam asi', meaning "You are not that". It is practiced as "Neti, neti", that means 'not this, not that'.

"This atman, which dwells in the heart, is smaller than a grain of rice, smaller than a grain of barely, smaller than a grain of mustard, smaller than a grain of millet, smaller than the germ which is in the grain of millet; this atman, which dwells in the heart, is also greater than the earth [the sphere of gross manifestation], greater than the atmosphere [the sphere of subtle manifestation], greater than the sky [the sphere of formless manifestation], greater than all the worlds together [that is, beyond all manifestation, being the unconditioned]." Chandogya Upanishad (Wikipedia)

And that reality is what Sai Baba represents. God is bigger than the biggest and smaller than the smallest, Atman the indweller of the heart.
Do you wonder why I know that? I have been twice nine months, alltogether eighteen months in a TM teachers training listening only to tapes during eight hours a day, there had to be something in that training.
During the time with Baba he made it a living reality from inside mirroring the teaching as 'I am that' being one with him, first only two and then expanding to the whole group.
I am that. Thou are that. All this is that. The final conclusion is, I am Brahman, aham brahmāsmi.

My big love, the error gone

Think now. Does error clog the free flowing Essence of My Being through you?
Ask Me this moment to reveal to you your errors
In the silence of your meditation.
Let old memories well up in you, from My subconscious in you...
Old patterns..., old forgotten feelings and thoughts.
Now plunge them into the Ocean of Light, burn them from the consciousness
So that you may be true emblems of My Being.

The mirage relationship dissolved into nothing

"I am" itself is God.
The seeking itself is God.
In seeking, you discover that you
are neither the body nor the mind,
and the love of the self in you
is for the self in all.

The two are one.
The consciousness in you
and the consciousness in me,
apparently two, really one,
seek unity, and that is love.

The great peace, the deep silence

That which cannot change, remains.
The great peace, the deep silence,
the hidden beauty of reality remain.
While it cannot be conveyed through words,
it is waiting for you to experience for yourself.
Then, even in the body, you are not born.
To be embodied or bodyless is the same to you.
You reach a point when nothing can happen to you.
Without body, you cannot be killed;
without possessions, you cannot be robbed;
without mind, you cannot be deceived.

There is no point where a desire of fear can hook on.
As long as no change can happen to you,
what else matters?

Nisargadatta

Unity of faith

“All faiths are inter-related and mutually indebted to each other for the principles they teach, and the disciplines they recommended.
The Vedic Religion was the first in time;
Buddhism which appeared about 2,500 years ago, was its son;
Christianity, which was influenced much by the Orient was its grandson.
And Islam, which has the Prophets of Christianity as its base was like the great-grandson. All have Love as the fundamental discipline of the mind, in order to chasten it and merge man with the Divine”.
SSS VOL VII B Chap 15 p 113.

o There is only one caste - the caste of Humanity.
o There is only one religion - the religion of Love.
o There is only one language - the language of the Heart.
o There is only one God - He is Omnipresent.
o There is only one law - the law of Dharma”.

“Let the different faiths exist, let them flourish, let the glory of God be sung in all the languages, in a variety of tunes that should be the ideal. Respect the differences between the faiths and recognise them as valid as far as they do not extinguish the flame of Unity.”

'David wants to fly' in TV, a movie about TM

Yesterday on TV was on the film by David Sieveking, "David wants to fly". He admired David Lynch, went to Fairfield Iowa. David Lynch was in the mean time a TM teacher and invited his fans to Iowa. He was meditating in privacy and after 32 years meditating he began to teach. (A fan of David Lynch doesn't know that it is learnt by heart, always the same.) Also Donovan was there.

Gold-embroidered shoes, a Sai Baba present

Tonight in the dream I had darshan, three times and the third we nearly missed, we just got it, whatever that was during the third one, and it had to do with a car in all three darshans, but I don't remember details.
It woke me up, but when falling asleep again there Baba sat in front, and then it was darshan again and Baba passed by.
He was wearing a necklace, but not the right one. I wanted to give it to him.
When he passed by I took his hand and kissed it, reached in my pocket and put a present in his hand. He didn't walk by, he was standing there and he looked at it very thoroughly, it seemed to be a watch and he said that it was beautiful and it had value, we as well put it in two, half and half.

"Let me efface your karma", Baba is the best therapy

"Let old memories well up in you, from My subconscious in you... Old patterns..., old forgotten feelings and thoughts. Now plunge them into the Ocean of Light, burn them from the consciousness, so that you may be true emblems of My Being.
Right now, Visualize My burning flame rising higher and higher as it burns through you.
It is a flame that is cooling, cleansing and healing,
That soothes the hidden sorrow..., and leaves you calmed and quiet.
Rest in my Love. Let all that you have been through in your many lives up to this day, melt away in My redeeming Light. Children of My Being, dissolve your sorrows and fears in Me.
Let me efface all your karma."
Sathya Sai Baba

First I wondered when old stuff came up, I wondered why. I knew it was what I was waiting for since a long time, I could face it and look at it.
After the first interview with Baba at night in the dream was my mother, love was much stronger. My body felt like a clove and he had filled it out completely.

My true devotee - Sathya Sai Baba

Our Beloved Bhagwan says:
I have come to describe the virtues of my true devotee.
He/she has, Eyes that are radiant and peaceful
Eyes that constantly search for Me
Eyes that have compassion and love
Eyes that show determination of truth
Eyes that focus continuously on the goal
A smile that shows confidence in My decisions
A smile where no pain is painful
A smile that melts and wins all
A smile that speaks all my teachings
A smile that is ever content
Hands that serve
Hands that never tire
Hands that give and never take
Hands that carry all burdens of others
Hands that stroke and love others
A heart in which I shine
A heart in which I speak
A heart that knows no preferences
A heart with a steady heartbeat
A heartbeat that calls My name
A heart that speaks My language
A heart where I reside.

Sathya Sai Baba

Poem written by Sathya Sai Baba

A Poem written by Sathya Sai Baba

Children of Immortality, remember that you are created
In my image and likeness. Perfect.
Live up to this image, in every way, in all planes.
Live like Masters!

Walk this earth with your heads held high,
Your spirits soaring...,your hearts open to Love...
And believe in yourself and God within you.
Then all will go well.

Earth is but a manifestation of My Being, made out of My Life!
Wherever you look, I am there.
Wherever you walk, I am there.
Whomsoever you contact, I am that person.
I am in each, in all My Splendour.
See Me everywhere, talk to Me and love Me, who am in each.

Then from each, I will respond and bring you into Glory.
You cannot see Me in one place and not in another, for I fill all space.
You cannot escape Me or do anything in secret, for there are no secrets with Me.
Live... Live... Live... in perfect accordance
With My laws, and wonders will ensue.

Right now, Visualize My burning flame rising higher and higher as it burns through you.
It is a flame that is cooling, cleansing and healing,
That soothes the hidden sorrow..., and leaves you calmed and quiet.

Rest in my Love. Let all that you have been through
In your many lives up to this day, melt away in My redeeming Light.
Children of My Being, dissolve your sorrows and fears in Me.
Let me efface all your karma.

Come back into My Consciousness, which is your own true Consciousness.
Let your petty human self fade away, right now,
As you come to Me, who am your Inner Self.
You are now My radiant glorious Self.., no longer separate from Me.
Melt with Me... Merge with Me..., become Me

Self-satisfaction, self-confidence, self-control, self-sacrifice, self-realization

In Sadhana (spiritual practices), there are six steps: Sama (mind-control), Dama (body and sense-control), Titiksha (forbearance), Uparathi (beyond joy and sorrow), Shraddha (unwavering faith) and Samadhana (focus on Atma). Sama, Dama and Uparathi have to do with various aspects of mind and sense control. Titiksha refers to having equal-mindedness in gain or loss, in pain or pleasure, and in praise or censure. Shraddha (faith) is very essential in spiritual life. Only the one who has Shraddha will attain illumination and wisdom. So whatever work is undertaken, one should do it with diligence and faith. Samadhana refers to contentment. He who has the least desires is the richest man in the world. He who is filled with desires is the poorest man in the world. Therefore, one should have contentment and self-satisfaction. Self-satisfaction comes from self-confidence. Self-satisfaction can lead one to self-sacrifice and thence to Self-realization.-Baba...

But remembering TM, the principle of self-satisfaction was in the principle of invincibility. There is everything known, nowhere to go to look for more knowledge, all problems solved, if you know how to help yourself, you help the world. All you need to do, meditate.
About the future, nothing to do but meditate to enlighten the world, the best one can do. By meditation is all covered.

Yoga Suthras of Pathanjali by Sathya Sai Baba

Excerpt from book of Sri Sathya Sai Baba "Prashaanthi Vaahini" about Yoga Suthras of Pathanjali

When one knows that there is absolutely no iota of distinction between the Jiva and the Atma, that they are One and the Same, then it is the highest Samadhi.
It is the fruit of ripest Dhyana, the dearest moment of Yogis, the destroyer of Ajnana, the signal of the Grace of God. Incessant thirst to know the Atman as all, is worthy to be encouraged and welcomed, for, it is the path through which all doubts can be eliminated.

Sai Baba; inside motivation

Why writing a blog? If you ask me that, I will tell you a long story.
It began years ago with Baba, who said during an interview, 'Follow the inner master, fight to the end, finish the game'.
I don't remember the people who were with me in that interview, he took always country groups together, but I didn't know them. I don't remember them at all, it fees like he spoke only to me. He was very close and looked at me when he said it.

The melody coming out of the heart of all hearts

Another video clip is named 'Musing on God', and listening to it in Baba's presence about twenty minutes of music, a real joy, I got aware that is all about the beautiful melody coming out of the heart of all hearts, love only. That melody was there during the first meditation course and was due to that projected later on into a wrong path and a technique.
To get aware that 'I am that', it is the focus on the 'melody coming out of the heart of all hearts', on love.
It is being one with him, it is the same. There is only one heart of all hearts, and that is he, as he is the indweller of the heart. 'He is that', and 'we are that' and then 'all are that'.
The focus is on that 'melody coming out of the heart of all hearts', that is the inner essence, the oneness and it gets to an experience of belonging to the same family, to his family, being the same.
There is no such thing as projection of the self into a methode, when there is only one reality of the self, the experience of oneness and sharing the beauty.

A sutra to keep focused

It is a wonderful summer day, it will get very warm. During driving to work I thought about how to deal with that situation. I decided if I feel uncertain about the work place, instead of worrying and getting into fears, I need even more the strength of the sutras.

Patanjali sutras and what is a not right path

Taking a sutra which seems to make possible to understand the difference between mind and samyama.
"By practising Samyama on the coronal light, Siddhas can be seen"

TM siddhis and programs

It is difficult for people not knowing TM to understand what is behind, as everything is top secret. I read a commentary on a webside which talked about Patanjali's sutras:

Patanjali, work with Samyama - we are the same, unity vs. perverted spirituality

Ekagrata parinama, you and I are one, we are the same.
I copied the explanation of Swami Krishnananda, he explains the Patanjali sutras.

Get the power of a siddhi - I am that

If I am used to meditate with a mantra and go beyond body and mind, (even if not being aware of it, the always sad reality during TM practice) but focused on a siddhi like
'calmness is attained by Samyama on the bronchial tube',

My new Bija Mantra; an universal level

The focus is on the self, not a technique and certainly conscious of the divine aspect. Self means, it is not only me, but also in my counterpart.
And when I heart the sound rising from the core of beings, it is not me, but everywhere. I know it is the self and the mantra has brought it up. And when I feel harmony, it is the mantra in the self and not just thin air.
The TM time was an intense experience of silence and lots of hours meditation, sometimes for weeks and months all together. Those inner harmony created by focus on the self, is still present, as much as the peace coming out of the heart of all hearts.
That is my mantra, and this mantra has become universal, I see it in my conterpart.
I remember during that time in meditation, it was already very disturbed by the TM-leader, but while I thought the mantra, the birds were outside chanting it.
It became such a problem due to the stupid behaviour of the leader, who could not handle it and had no spiritual realization.
The worst was, the yogi, even being present, could nothing do about it and not harmonize it. The leader had the power, not the yogi, and that made things go completly upside down.
As Baba said, all mantras are okay, TM has not made them, but just used them.

Nothing else Matters

Nothing else matters

So close no matter how far, couldn’t be much more from the heart
forever trusting who we are, and nothing else matters

From the Waves to the Sea

The wise thing is to forget these waves, and to direct attention towards the sea beneath, which is without change. Then only can you attain shanti, swim about happily in the deep undisturbed waters.
Baba

How did I get into it, I don’t know? Does it belongs to the reality of sath-chith-ananda? We think so, when do we know?  He knows, when it is transcendental, he is the knower.
Going in direction of the higher self, it is insight and therefore, it is He, and that is his reality, transcendental, beyond the body and the mind and beautiful, the ocean of light.

'I am that', he is that, he is it. He is transcendental, he is the light, the love and the beauty. No body and no mind, no mine or tine, 'not this, not that', and the self is separate, a gap is between the material world and the higher self.
