Faith can affect Inanimate Objects

A few elders in Brindavan who revelled in scandalizing Krishna set an ordeal for Radha to test her virtue. Radha was asked to fetch water in a pot from Yamuna to home. Radha, with full faith in Krishna, was immersed in the consciousness of the Lord, that she never bothered to know the condition of the pot. The mud pot she was given had a hundred holes. She immersed it in the river, repeating the name of Krishna as usual, with every intake of the breath and every exhalation. Every time the name Krishna was uttered, a hole was covered, so that by the time the pot was full, it was whole! That was the measure of her faith. Faith can affect even inanimate objects.
Baba (thought for the day)

How would it be for us to be in such a situation? Imagine you are sent to get some water and the pot has holes. What would we think? What would be our conclusion? Would we think that the pot is just not okay or would we realize that behind are some people who want to test our virtue?
It is a difference if we just have a broken pot in our hands or if that pot was broken in purpose to test our virtue, could be something else being destroyed to test our virtue, couldn't it?
Radha was always repeating the name of Krishna.

Baba explains here that she was actually meditating and repeating the name of the Lord and not just thinking about her love for Krishna, as lots of devotees seem to think or imagine devotion to be nothing but 'love', but it has to be always there, if it is a changing love that is a wrong conclusion, it has to be eternal love. What is the difference between the state of changing love and a permanent state of true or pure love?
To live in truth has to do with a higher principle and with a divine reality and it has nothing to do with sentimental feelings we project on some kind of divinity we don't even know, because how do we experience divinity?
If we don't realize that it is a principle and not just an image... of our mind, we don't know it at all, we are still in the mind.
It is a life-principle.
Therefore, I like that Baba tells here that Radha, the biggest devotee of Krishna, the most famous devotee, the VIP of devotees is just repeating the divine name with her breath. It is a principle if our breath is telling 'I am that', because it is an universal being which is telling always 'I am that' and it gets us identified with that inner divine role and melts in love. We reach that state because the focus is always on 'that'. We don't reach it because we imagine in the mind to be 'that'. It is constant focus on only 'that'.

She immersed it in the river, repeating the name of Krishna as usual, with every intake of the breath and every exhalation. Every time the name Krishna was uttered, a hole was covered, so that by the time the pot was full, it was whole! That was the measure of her faith. Faith can affect even inanimate objects.

What Baba tells us is that her faith, constant focus on the Lord, was able to cover the holes and affect inanimate objects.
It is like when we close the eyes and think the mantra and get inside aware that we share it with him, he is present. On that inside level we don't talk to a husband who is a wall, we share with him our life-breath.
After Baba said in the interview room I should think only about God, I began to always remember that the breath tells 'Soham', I am that. I tried to not forget it, because at night it will be inside present just as the 'OM' and that will be also there in deep sleep, it means if we reach 360° of being awake inside in consciousness, we are enlightened. That is a never changing level of transcendental awareness.
I tried to do what he said, constantly thinking of God, constantly be aware of him. Once he said during a speech that the name of God is the mantra.
Baba was always talking to lots of devotees and students, only in the interview room we were a few only.
I understood from the beginning on that I had to focus on the name and the mantra and not on 'love' only, because that love would not be a permanent state, but just there during my focus on it, and to be real and true it has to be permanent and always there.
But it was also kind of difficult to get aware in the beginning that the breath is always telling 'Soham' until I noticed, that is not difficult, because the breath is going on telling it also when I forget it, therefore, I just have to remember it constantly again.
It is fully effortless, it doesn't matter if we forget it, we just go back to that 'breath' and the love relationship inside in that state of inner attention.
Once we had interview again and Baba said, 'I am also always thinking of God'.
That means on that level we are the same, we are one, we belong together. I didn't understand it at that time and when he said it in the interview room, not yet, but it has changed, in the mean time I do understand it and in the mean time I know that inner relationship because he has been inside present in many ways and I have seen that inside reality and shared it with him.
But if we are with him one, we all become one.
Because nobody is different in the breath.
Only as long as we see it from the outside, we see it as difference, we see different forms. But when we see it from the inside, there is no difference and that makes us see it in another light and it changes our understanding. We see it inside out of the deep ocean and not from outside, we don't see waves, we see the ocean.
First we should get one with him and realize that there is no difference in that inner total non-duality and after understanding that inner being level, we can get to the conclusion that we are all one.
I guess there is nothing more fulfilling than that inner state of unity, because in our heart we don't talk with a wall, we talk with our own self and what could be closer to us than our own higher self?
