Enjoy the Circle

There is no need to fight against the fundamental delusion of body attachment with overwhelming force and argument.
Delusion will disappear, if you just sit quietly for one minute and analyse for yourself your own experience with this transient world.
Jnana (Wisdom) is not Apraptha-prapthi, something that is acquired from somewhere, like the gift of money from a donor to a person who did not have it.
Wisdom is Praptha-Prapthi! It is like forgetting about the ten-rupee note that you kept in a book you were reading. You then lent that book to someone and later asked him for a ten-rupee loan. He just gave it to you from the book, which is your own money. Similarly the Guru brings out the treasure of wisdom, from your very own hridaya pustaka - book of your heart!
Baba (thought for the day)

Do you know what Praptha-Prapthi means? My delusion will disappear when I understand it ... and that takes certainly more than a minute.
But that much I understand, that wisdom is different from worldly things and that you give back to me, what I gave you before - by hazard? Why do I ask for that loan?
Conclusion, the Guru brings me a treasure which was already mine and it was always there in my own book of the heart, but why did I ask for it?
Because I was not aware of it?
There is no need to fight against the fundamental delusion of body attachment, not with force and arguments, but certainly with discrimination.

Delusion will disappear, if you just sit quietly for one minute and analyse for yourself your own experience with this transient world.

The body can go on without self-knowledge, only our own self will not be happy and feel empty, if self-awareness is not there. And it seems the body can even appear as a prison to the divine.
No need to fight against it, but ... delusion will only disappear if we sit quietly and analyse ... and now we have words we do not understand the meaning and that minute can last a long time...
Delusion will only disappear, if there is discrimination and if we cannot understand the expressions, how will we be able to understand the meaning and how will we be able to discriminate, if we do not understand it?
Why it is that difficult? It would be all easy, if we would understand it, but we do not understand it, therefore, it is not easy.
What happens is something else and that part is in our own mind.
There is a process, it means:
Listening, thinking over and absorb. (Tamas, Rajas and Sathva)
We have to face our own mind (nature).

There is no need to fight against the fundamental delusion of body attachment with overwhelming force and argument.
We think, no effort needed, all done. But thinking about it we get aware that we do not know and the movement begins, Rajas, passion, heat, emotions, why do I not understand it if it is that easy?
Wrong conclusion, he did not tell that it is easy. Just listening is Tamas and if we are perfectly happy, we do not feel comfortable to question it, therefore, the passion is coming up and making us feel... upset.
In a study circle what it needs is self-discipline, because we tell only what is on our mind when it is our turn and we do not tell the other what we think of him.
There are all different people in a circle. Some will take it easy and think, what is the use, I will get it next time and some will get upset with that feeling to not know, because it is not a good feeling.
If we are in a study circle, we have different people, if there is no self-discipline, one takes it easy and the other is silently enervated and if for some reason that gets in the circle, it will not be a circle, but only half a circle, because it will take over the mind of all present, the mind level, worldly aggravation and frustration, every day worries, all what we would like to forget, but not to be remembered again. It comes up and we have to face it, we do not like it, it is not enjoyable.
Only in the circle it is possible to feel the presence of the divine and unity.
If for some reason the enervated guy thinks he has to tell everybody or he doesn't know the value of self-discipline, the one who wants to take it all easy has to respond or at least sit there quietly and wait until it is over and done... and we will go home with headache.
But if we sit there and just watch and understand that it is passion, if we read and study the words carefully and put it into practice, we benefit of the experience of the others and can share it and afterwards it will be the sweet experience, because we will be able to absorb it. The reality in the circle is pure joy and sweet and nectar like and Sathva.
If we do not understand the process and do not get there, we do not experience the spiritual reality and purpose of the study circle.
It has to be a circle, and as Baba tells, if we don't do that work and we don't think it over, if there is no self-effort, it can go on forever being only half a circle. But we have to get the experience first to get aware of it.
