Baba (thought for the day)
After the great evening with Baba's presence during the program in our Sai center I read just the first sentence letting it go down, settling inside in my mind and still only thinking, 'yes, God is all-pervading and how do we experience it.
That is for us the main thing, that is for us the question if we are happy or not. That is for us the question if we feel good or irritated, like something would be missing. That is on my mind remember last night still, seeing Baba giving Darshan as he had been years ago and admiring the beauty and love.
God is All-pervading (Sarvavyapi).
That is all the associations coming up in my mind when reading that first sentence, only the first sentence, I still fell Baba's presence due to that Bhajan last night and it is a great feeling, there is joy, there is even bliss, but we have been that long living in his presence that it feels just normal and everything else when he is not present makes we feel restless and not normal.

Yes that is in the air, when we see him in the inner view as we knew him walking around in the midst of his devotees and in the meantime we know that there was nothing but love around him. Last night it felt that much like Prasanthi Nilayam, I just had to go to my room and go for Darshan today again and this morning I would have like to put on a sari as we did in that time and to walk to his Darshan, what beautiful time and how lucky we were to be in his presence.
Make your heart the Seat of the Lord.
Our heart should be his seat and how do we know by our own experience that he is in the heart? The first time I was meditating and I took some vibuthi there was a flow from the tongue downwards direction of the heart and by flowing it felt like love and it went it felt like it became more intense and ended in the heart and there was the small dark blue form and it was God. It was an incredible insight. I knew afterwards I had to go there and it was just not possible to stop everything I did and to leave, but I was ready to go there and so one day and I went with my boyfriend to the Maharishi, we were both with TM, already on the way in the airplane we sat in a group of people going to Sai Baba. And during that time I packed and went to Baba, I really didn't know how to get out of it, but finally I sat in Darshan and was amazed because everything seemed to be beautiful, charming and sunny.

If we know God is in the heart and that the heart is the temple of God, the heart gets precious. I was after that first experience constantly meditating and focused on his presence in the heart. It was a great time, because it felt like a fairytale became true, the reality of God on earth had something incredibly amazing and to know it from the inner experience made us feel like beyond doubt and there had been some insights before in that direction and I knew it was true, but I should soon realize that it was nevertheless not easier to get it that those insights began to make sense when we put them all together.
Keep God in your hearts; then they will become precious possessions. If God is implanted in the heart, you will see only God everywhere.
That is a wonderful truth and it is telling us why God is all-pervading, what was the first sentence. If we get aware of his presence in our heart, we are also able to see him everywhere.

We have to get that experience to realize that it is a fact, but it is possible to get that experience and how. He said first step, 'you and I are we', it means we transcend the you and I, that is the mind and body, relative level and we have to act as one and that we find in 'we' and second step, 'we and he is I'. If we are singing together it is the level of 'we' and we get aware that he is in all heart, all singers, there is only 'one' and we can see God everywhere by doing that.
Resolve this day to engage only in virtuous deeds, good thoughts and good company.
Why Baba does tell us to engage only in virtuous deeds, good thoughts and good company? It is impossible to make the experience of divinity in the heart if we are engaged in bad company. Because we have to do it together, the we is what counts. And if there is bad company there is no we, but probably only I and mine or you and thine, only differences, with other words, ego and mind. We have to be on the level of 'we' first and therefore, we have to be in good company, we have to look for virtuous deeds and we should have good thoughts.
If that is not there, we cannot make the experience that God is everywhere; it expands in our awareness together with others.
Let your mind dwell on elevating thoughts. Do not waste a single moment of your waking time in vain boasting or idle gossip or demeaning recreations.
We know why we should dwell on elevating thoughts, divinity is the highest and if we are in bad thoughts we don't reach that level. Bad thoughts as I had experienced make constantly a difference, because there is ego and as I know from my ex, we met in the ashram and I thought like others great and just yesterday I had seen a couple they also met in the ashram, but they sing together Bhajans and they are still together and there it works. I am ashamed of the time I had to spend with my ex, it was that derogative, harmful and damaging, sometimes it felt like every breath with him turned into insult and he ignored our need. In the opposite, he used it to make himself feel better. And he thought that it was all his and as he said he could not do that with American, that means it was not Baba's doing and he was not looking for the divine presence on the level of 'we', but only for himself and in his perverted view everything what arranged him and he could take advantage of, was Baba give for him. It was torture to go through that not able to keep the level of the lord as described it and it could lead nowhere and it was torture again getting out of it and it is painful getting aware of it.
He lived in the idea of his mind that it had been all his doing only and first I didn't believe it, but after Baba said in my dream that he took only advantage of it, we had to get aware of it that it was like that after all and that he took only advantage of it and the questions was, what is that and how we felt it. So we get more and more to the core of it and we begin to see why he never looked for the divine on the level of 'we' or family, not even with his daughter and he didn't hear it, we told him again and again it was in vain. It means he saw it all as his doing only and therefore, he took advantage of the opportunity in Baba's ashram calling it a Baba Lila and he always knew it was not Baba, but his doing, but he said he meditated and he goes on saying that, even if he never did it, it is like thinking when he tells it long enough it will be true, even if it is a total dream level, we don't get the benefit of meditation if we tell we meditate, but we never do it and so he said it was a Baba Lila and he appeared like a devotee, but he was not and finally he said that he could not have done that with an American that he was fooling us into it, calling it a Baba Lila, taking advantage of it that people believe in Baba and we were stupid enough to go for it and that was hard to take, I had really sometimes the feeling that I could kill that guy and that is not really the basis for the experience that divinity is omnipresent, the only thing what we experience in such a case as omnipresent is probably the devil and hell. When he said that he could not have done that with an American woman, it felt like an insult. But as we had been with Baba and listening to his words, it was kind of difficult to get. Now I know why I felt like that, but at that time I didn't know and it just didn't make sense. It didn't make sense when he said that he was initiated into meditation and he never did it. It didn't make sense to me, what did he tell me by that? Actually it didn't even come to my mind, because who would do something like that. As he is stupid I guess until today I am able to accept that he did it nevertheless, just because of stupidity. Nobody can force anyone to be intelligent if he is stupid.
So he did in every way possible exactly that what Baba tells us not to do. It is clear on that level we cannot make the experience of divinity, bad company is the kiss of death for the right experience or the right answers.

He is in the mind not in the heart and we have to be in the heart to make the experience that God is all-pervading and if he is only in the mind, he turns into the enemy and is not our friend, we don't make any spiritual experiences with such a person, only frustration and as Baba called, perversion.
While life persists, do good things, speak softly and sweetly, never injure or insult another, serve those in need and keep the image of God ever before the mind's eye.
That is why we should do good, be good, see good. If we want to keep the image of God ever before the mind's eye, we have to do good, be good and see good.
Yesterday we have visitors during Bhajans a couple, they are singing for years already together and they have both beautiful voices and that is the example of two devotees and it is beautiful to feel their positive influence they have with their great voices and I remember the time we sang together in Prasanthi.
But when I look at them and I see how they had met also in the ashram and in Baba's presence and I see my ex and what came out by it as we also had met in the ashram, I am ashamed of it.
All that beauty we had lived and experience in the divine presence was destroyed by his perverted ways and Baba said in the insight that it is perverted, it is not my invention. And before he left the body he said, no more husband, nothing left but an empty Western shoe.
There is nothing left, only emptiness, it is really terrible thinking back and rememibering that beauty we had experienced in his presence and to be confronted with a perverted mind for such a long time.
That stupid guy who claims to be a 'devotee' and claims to meditate, when he never did it, sends us books about 'think and get rich', he really seems to have the worst level of the American dream possible.
He thinks he can get rich in just thinking about it …, just a dreamer I had met and in Baba's presence and with his big boss in the background, in that room he lived and called him his good friend and he said that they didn't only work but meditated together, and what it was really, years and years of aggravation only and nothing was true what that guy said.
If we want to make the experience of the all-pervading divinity in the heart and that we are all the same 'I am that', we have to develop the heart level and that is only possible with goodness, otherwise, we are in the mind and there is no heart.
We have to be intelligent enough to know when we are on the heart level and when we are in the mind.
We have to go beyond the mind and the body, that is why Baba said, 'you and I are we' first step.
The level of 'you and I' is mind and body level, that has to be transcended, what we also do with meditation, but we do it also in the group and we are not the body and not the mind to be able to make the experience of the all-pervading divinity, we have first to be on the 'we' level, we and not you and not I, only 'we' and we have to apply the divine principle, all are one, all are the same 'I am that'.
We get there by listening to Baba's words and thinking it over, we get aware of the 'I am I' and if we realized that truth, it is a fact, as Baba tells us here, we are on the level of 'we and He is I'.

Singing together and listen to the singers in the awareness that we are all one, and we listen to our own higher self as we are all the same, 'I am that' and as Baba said not long ago in the thought for the day, the higher or divine self and the Atma and Brahman and the OM are all the same. We realize it in listening to his words, in thinking it over and by that we get able to absorb the wisdom.
Yesterday I read in a book that in the Bible is said, 'I am the – I am that', it was a great way of translating it and it totally makes sense when we listen to Baba and to our own experience, we know and experience that divinity is the 'I am that' or also the 'I am I' and there is no difference, we are all the same, but we have to realize it.
