"Sacrifice ignorance (ajnana) and
ego (ahamkara) at
the altar of wisdom (Jnana), and
install righteousness(Dharma) therein"
- this is the message of the
scriptures. Every single unselfish act, which prepares the
ground for the
merging of the Soul with the Over-Soul, which broadens the
vision towards the
Divinity immanent everywhere, is a righteous act. Each such
act is a tiny
stream that swells the river of holiness rushing towards the
sea of knowledge
of Divinity. Your acts and activities are all rituals in the
worship of
the Paramatma that
pervades
the Universe. Whatever is done in an attitude of dedication
and
surrender is a component of the Dharma, which
leads to Realisation. The strategy of the
ancient Bharathiya (Indian)
way
of life is directed towards the sanctification of every moment
and every
word, thought and deed as a step towards realising the
Divine.
If we have to sacrifice ignorance and ego at the altar of wisdom, we can
conclude that righteousness and Dharma is without ignorance and without ego.
If
there is wisdom, we have no ignorance and ego and if there is ignorance and ego, there is no
wisdom.
Baba calls that the message of the scriptures, the message of Veda, a
very old message and always true. He refers to the scriptures as we
do to science, it is the authority for it and what is in the scriptures is in
many ways confirmed by holy masters and seers, the ancient Rishis and it tells us what is true and that there cannot be a mistake.
The Atmic principle is in the scriptures, it is always the same for any
master who is teaching it and Swami is the embodiment of it.
"Sacrifice ignorance (ajnana) and ego (ahamkara) at the altar of
wisdom (Jnana), and
install righteousness(Dharma) therein"
- this is the message of the scriptures.
Every single
unselfish act, which prepares the ground for the merging of the Soul with the
Over-Soul, which broadens the vision towards the Divinity immanent everywhere,
is a righteous act.
With unselfish acts which prepares the ground for merging of the soul
with the over-soul and it is always a righteous act when it goes in direction of merging with the over-soul. With other
words it is impossible to merge with the over-soul if there is selfishness, it
would keep us in the mind and the body. Going beyond the body and the
mind is being selfless. It is not possible to merge if we are not selfless.
Selfishness and ego are identified with the body, only if we go beyond
the body we can be selfless. If we sacrifice the ego and ignorance at the altar
of wisdom, we prepare also the ground for merging of the soul with the
over-soul. As it is selfless and going
beyond the body an mind, it is right action.
Each such act is
a tiny stream that swells the river of holiness rushing towards the sea of
knowledge of Divinity. Your acts and activities are all rituals in the worship
of the Paramatma that
pervades the Universe.
We can think it over and see what it coming up in the mind.
What about merging the wave with the sea? What is here dedication and
surrender?
The strategy of
the ancient Bharathiya (Indian)
way of life is directed towards the sanctification of every moment and every
word, thought and deed as a step towards realising the Divine.
Dedication to the divine with every word, how is it done?
He said in my dream to use his words. Now when we use his words, he give the answer and he is a powerful answer. And it is in his words, if we use his words, we are in his thoughts if we are aware of it or not and it is his divine deed, we are just the instruments and if we are only singing, that is part of it, but the real dedication is to his words, in his words is the divine principle, he is the embodiment of it and that is Atma and the 'I am that', the Atmic principle and we have to make the experience of it.
We have to know how giving it to him. If we use his words, he is present in his words and usually when I don't feel him present, I get a headache.
So in using his words I prevent the headache and he can is the answer anyhow. If we use his words, if we go deep into his words, we go also into his thoughts and there is that oneness between thought, word and deed. If we use his words, he is present and we are just the instruments and that is how it should be and it feels okay that is the amazing and uplifting experience we know from our time with him in the ashram.
"Sacrifice
ignorance (ajnana) and
ego (ahamkara) at the
altar of wisdom (Jnana), and
install righteousness(Dharma) therein"
- this is the message of the scriptures. Every single unselfish act, which

If we listen to
those words of
Baba and if we do that, every action of ours will be a prayer
for the
environment, as he telling us it will become one big holy river
and every day,
every moment, every thought and every action will be a prayer
for the
environment, because there is only One and one alone.
