Courage, Enthusiasm and Joy

Every village and town today is sick with animosities and petty quarrels. Even though many attempts have been made during the past years to better the lot of the common people, results have been far below expectations and expense. This is because of the absence of three requisites essential for all advancement: Dhairyam, Utsaham and Aanandam (courage, enthusiasm and joy). Nature has sufficient beauty to instill awe and wonder, to impart courage, to inspire enthusiasm and fill you with joy! It is a type of false vairagyam (non-attachment) to close one’s eye to all the beauty, plenty, mercy that you receive from Mother Nature, and to run around in sorrow, bewailing your lot.Be thankful to the Lord for the chance given to you to serve others and yourselves, to witness His Glory and Grace, and look upon all as brothers and sisters. The virtues of the people are the treasures of the State; the remembrance of the name of the Lord is the root of all virtues.
Baba

We should make it our purpose to make sure that the three requisites essential for all advancement are present. If there is too much animosity and petty quarreling, we should make sure that everybody hears it that the three requisites essential for all advancement are absent and we have to do our best from our side to make sure that it is not absent and that has to do with right action. If we find instead of, ‘courage, enthusiasm and joy’ only animosities and petty quarrels going on, we should do something about it.

This is because of the absence of three requisites essential for all advancement: Dhairyam, Utsaham and Aanandam (courage, enthusiasm and joy).

We get the strength from nature itself.
Mother Nature is full of beauty and there is plenty of mercy that we receive from that side, there is no reason to run around in sorrow bewailing our lot.

It is like with the study circle.

"If it is read-only, doubts remain. But if everyone expresses its view, the doubts will be answered. The subject is illuminated, and the Working Group sees the different sides. It's like a cut diamond that has many facets. But there is a main facet that is flat, and from that side all can be viewed and therefore, discovering this main facet is the task of the Study Group."

By thinking over Baba’s words we see the different sides and find the main facet and that is flat and we can see everything from that side only and therefore, discovering the main facet it also our task.

Nature has sufficient beauty to instill awe and wonder, to impart courage, to inspire enthusiasm and fill you with joy! It is a type of false vairagyam (non-attachment) to close one’s eye to all the beauty, plenty, mercy that you receive from Mother Nature, and to run around in sorrow, bewailing your lot.

The basic thought in it is no use to lament about the past and what had happened, we have to start new again and mother nature gave us enough beauty no matter what has happened in the past in our lives, there is enough beauty to install awe and wonder, to impart courage and to inspire enthusiasm and to fill our heart with joy.

It is for all the same, we all have the side which is heavy and unpleasant and we don’t want to talk about it, but we have to nevertheless be able to be at the positive side and we should not run around in sorrow bewailing our lot.
And we should see the others as brothers and sisters and not only those we think they are and they are not, we should see the virtue of the people as the treasure of the state and the remembrance of the name of the Lord to root to all virtue.
We remembre the mantra to clean the mind, it is a means to relax and we should think we would be able to go for better decisions and understanding it a better way.

What we don’t find is that thankfulness to the Lord for the chance that we can serve others and ourselves, if we keep only distance and don't talk anymore.
How can we be thankful for the opportunity to serve others if we see an obstacle in the others? Instead of being thankful keeping distance and looking at it like the enemy, that seems not to be right attitude. Truth is his breath and breath is the life energy and the air and that is the insight about stoned air around the statue of liberty, that is not how air should be and not in harmony with natural law.
Instead of seeing the root of all virtues in it and in others, avoiding it and instead of sharing the wisdom, we don't see any need or effort to spread the message, where is in that divinity?

Be thankful to the Lord for the chance given to you to serve others and yourselves, to witness His Glory and Grace, and look upon all as brothers and sisters. The virtues of the people are the treasures of the State; the remembrance of the name of the Lord is the root of all virtues.

We think that the Lord doesn’t allow us to live our life the way we want it.
We don’t see any means to serve others and ourselves, for whatever reason.
Truth is his breath, that is live energy, that is air, that is not stone, that is flow and that is movement and it is not stubborn silence, based on Tamas and ignorance.
Silence is not establishing, 'courage, enthusiasm and joy'. Silence is based on animosity and petty quarells. If we don't talk it is because of animosity and we see in the other the enemy and we don't talk because we try to avoid petty quarelling.

Courage is not afraid of others and truth, enthusiasm is not keeping silence to not share it with others and also joy is not staying in silence to not have to share with others.
Silence avoids it and therefore is responsible for animosity and petty quarells, it avoids it.
We cannot avoid it with silence, it doesn't change anything, we only get there in listening to his words and with the three requisites for all advancement. It is courage, enthusiasm and joy and they are alive and full of love and there is too much energy in his breath (truth is his breath) to keep silent.
It is not the level of the body, it is the level of energy, prana, the life breath cannot be a message of truth in silence.
Silence seen in that sense is seen on the level of the body only and that results in level confusion and we always have to use discrimination first, seeing it in our own life and going on no matter what obstacles are there. Truth is his breath, not his form. Love is his form and love and that is the body level and it is in silence, but not truth.
We know four stages, the waking stage, the dream stage and the sleep stage and Turiya, the eternal level of consciousness, non-changing and unlimited.
And we know the five sheaths of the body and truth is his breath and breath is the level of energy, it is the element of fire and heat going upwards like the intellect.
It is not going downwards in the body becoming stone. It is an upward movement and nothing that is going upwards can be stone and after all, if we have those two levels merging, bliss is his food, ananda is in the heart.
Only what is going downwards can be stone, the body and the mind, the mind is cold and the element of water and flowing downwards into the senses and it get colder and it can turn into ice.
We have the five sheaths, the core is ananda in the heart and two are downwards the body is matter and the mind is water and cold and upward directed is air - prana and energy and the intellect and that belongs to the element of fire and heat and they will never ever be stone.
Truth is my breath and that is the level of energy and if that energy level is in the insight stone, we have put God in stone and he always said, we should see in a stone God, but we never should make out of God stone, but it looked like that as the air was nothing but stone around the statue of liberty.

This is because of the absence of three requisites essential for all advancement: Dhairyam, Utsaham and Aanandam (courage, enthusiasm and joy).
