If we correct the Defective Vision, we can experience Divine Oneness in all Things

Love is Divine. Love all, impart your love even to those who lack love. Love is like a mariner's compass. Wherever you may keep it, it points the way to God. In every action in daily life manifest your love. Divinity will emerge from that love. This is the easiest path to God-realisation. But why aren't people taking to it? This is because they are obsessed with misconception relating to the means of experiencing God. They regard God as some remote entity attainable only by arduous spiritual practices. God is everywhere. There is no need to search for God. All that you see is a manifestation of the Divine. All the human beings you see are forms of the Divine. Correct your defective vision and you will experience God in all things. Speak lovingly, act lovingly, think with love and do every action with a love-filled heart.

In thinking it over we try to get a feeling for it, it is not just finding it beautiful and then we forget about, but get in an inner relationship with the words of Swami. He is telling us, listen, think it over and absorb, But it not just listening, he also said that we have to see it in our own life to be able to understand it. How do we see it in our own life? We just think it over and remember our experiences in our own life.

The first sentence starts with love is divine. We should love also those who lack love, love is the compass. It helps to think that everything we experience in the presence is something we have to learn, we have to realize it. We can imagine a compass and go in that direction even if we don't know anything else but that it is love and light.
And then he is telling us that in every action in daily life we should manifest love.
Divinity is divine or pure love, if we are pure love together all in pure love is divine love, it is the same love, the same love from God to the devotee and from the devotee to God, no difference.
We are obsessed with the misconception, and what is that misconception, it is also called illusion.
He explains more about the misconception and we should listen carefully as we know that conceptual is relative and non-conceptual is the divine, so what is the misconception?

Love is Divine. Love all, impart your love even to those who lack love. Love is like a mariner's compass. Wherever you may keep it, it points the way to God. In every action in daily life manifest your love. Divinity will emerge from that love. This is the easiest path to God-realisation. But why aren't people taking to it? This is because they are obsessed with misconception relating to the means of experiencing God. They regard God as some remote entity attainable only by arduous spiritual practices.

We think we can attain God only by arduous spiritual practices, that is what we think in India, not in the West, in the West we don't do anything at all to attain God, therefore, it helps to know that difference.
We don't go regularly to church, we don't meditate, we have the attitude that we have to do nothing at all as Jesus died for our sins on the cross and therefore, we are all forgiven and we see it like we would have no Karma. It is the Maharishi who said that it is fanaticism, if he died for us on the cross it showing us the way, but he cannot take the Karma of everybody on himself, everybody has to take care of his own Karma.
But the West understands it that way, we think if Jesus died for us on the cross, we are liberated and that is religious fanaticism. We cannot reach God without that we think about God and most people don't have any idea about God.
And here Swami is telling us it is easier, God is everywhere, we don't need to search for him. Right, no need for searching, it is better to go inside than to search.
Everything is the manifestation of the divine and all humans being are forms of the divine, he is in the heart.
It means if he is in our hearts, he is in all hearts, it means if I am that, we are that and because we are that, He is that.

If everybody would speak lovingly and act lovingly, if we would do everything with love, we have a love filled heart, it means 'we are that' and only if we are that, we get to the conclusion that 'He is that'. But to get aware of it we have to focus on love and the divine and he is on that level all the whole universe, the sum and substance of it.

God is everywhere. There is no need to search for God. All that you see is a manifestation of the Divine. All the human beings you see are forms of the Divine. Correct your defective vision and you will experience God in all things. Speak lovingly, act lovingly, think with love and do every action with a love-filled heart.

We got those quotes to contemplate upon. If we think it over, we get a different feeling than if we only read it and we do not meditate about it and think it over and contemplate the truth in Swami's words.
They will read the first part of it. We will think love is Divine, nothing knew we have heard it so often and we know love all serve all, we will not imagine how it is to be in a boat in the sea having only one compass pointing in the right direction and following that compass.

What is the misconception?
We have to attain it by arduous spiritual practice and some seem rather to think, lucky we don't do that, we don't do anything at all and we are not like that. We have the feeling that we know what everywhere means.
No need to search for God, no need for spiritual practice, we know he is everywhere. We know he is in the heart, we know it all and we are not aware that we don't know.
We don't see the manifestation of the divine, we see the mind reality outside all are different and not the same, that is not divinity, that is mind.
Human beings are forms of the divine, how do we make the experience of it? We see only that we are different, as long as we don't see the oneness, we don't see the divine, we see only the mind.
Swami tells us to correct the defective vision and that is not understood, why do we have defective vision?
The defective vision is due to the mind, we 'see' that is vision that everybody is different, that is defective and we don't see the divine, we don't see the oneness, it means we have to realize that it is the mind defective and we have to be able to see the oneness and to be able to do that we have to go inside and focus on the inside the heart, the pure love in the heart and to make the heart pure we need wisdom, love is all we need, but it needs to be pure love.
That is how we correct our defective vision, we hear only love and God and the rest we don't see.
The main sentence in that text is that we have to correct our defective vision, that is sense knowledge and the senses are the mind. We have to correct our defective vision, because it is defective, if it is defective, how do we get a right vision?
Only if we have right vision we will experience the divine in all things. Right vision first, that is the main issue in that first sentence and when we have the right vision, we will experience divinity in all things, but only when we have the right vision. He is telling us here that we have a defective vision and we are unable to know when he tells us God is everywhere.
Most of us will read only the first part and the rest, the second part as we don't listen, we know, we know love, everything fine, he is the avatar, but in reality we didn't listen and we didn't get his message right, it is about a defective vision and when we get it right we will able to see the divine everywhere and in all things, with other words he is telling us that we are unable to know that God is everywhere if we don't correct our defective vision.

Speak lovingly, act lovingly, think with love and do every action with a love-filled heart
