To every being born on earth, Truth is the visible manifestation of God. The entire cosmos composed of moving and immovable objects has emerged from Truth, is sustained by Truth and merges in Truth. Truth is Divine and eternal (Sathyam-Jnanam-Anantham Brahma). Hence everyone must revere Truth. Sathya and Dharma(truth and righteousness) will not submit to anyone. Every kind of strength, physical or otherwise, will have to come under their sway. Success follows Sathya and Dharma. Whatever be your scholarship or position, you have to cultivate respect for human values. Protect Sathya and Dharma always. What students and people must safeguard is not merely nations, but Sathya andDharma. In turn these values will protect the Universe. Educated persons, who in the name of countries are giving up truth and right conduct, are actually undermining the human civilization. It is more vital to cultivate virtues than go after scholarship or other worldly riches and possessions of transient nature.
What is truth?
We have to think it over. Listen, think it over, absorb.
Baba is … and what is it what we can understand and not a Sanskrit word?
If we call it 'sat-chit-ananda' it is Sanskrit and it needs to be thought over to be able to get a feeling for it. If we call him 'divine', we also have to think it over to be able to get that feeling and how do we understand it? Often it gets clearer in seeing the opposite, divine and not divine, Atma and mind, conceptual and not conceptual, absolut and relative, limited and unlimited and we are already a step closer to it, it is the difference between those two opposed levels.
If we call it Sathyam-Jnanam-Anantham Brahma.
How could we ever understand it without thinking it over? Sathyam is truth of existence in that sense and Jnanam is wisdom, knowledge and Anantam would be eternal non-changing and Brahma is the highest. The highest knowledge that transforms the whole person, it is not only hidden in the heart, but it is also in everybody or heaven. It is the principle of Brahman, the principle of 'I am that' and 'I am the One', It is all existent in oneness, it is pure knowledge, if that is known, there is nothing more to know and it is infinite and without end.
If we realize Brahman, Braham we become in that sense all desires are God's desires and get automatically fulfilled. That is what I read somewhere else about it or something like that we know from our meditation time that if we would be on the right level it would get fulfilled that is what we did with the Siddhis and the sutras, think it and let go so that it manifests if we would be on that level that they are God's desires ... if they are our desires and not God's desires it doesn't happen.
We have to listen to him to find his desire ..., we don't know it if we don't listen.
Writing is God's desire as it is Baba done, if we see it or not, he did it, he is the one who comes in the dream to awake us, he is divine and he said, 'I am the One', it is divinity and we can only experience it if we are two, you and I.
Whatever be your scholarship or position, you have to cultivate respect for human values. Protect Sathya and Dharma always.
What does it mean will not submit to anyone, we cannot give it to someone else, doesn't it. The way I understand it and experience it I cannot give it to you, I can just talk about it and you share my experience, but just by reading it and isn't it the same with Swami?
It is always true, we talk here about unchangeable truth. It is the same with Swami's Darshan, what we see is our own sight, he is the realized divine being and in his eternal reality it gets mirrored. We see the mirror in our own heart, the mirror is in our heart. The reflection in the mirror is also reflected in his words if we listen and think it over we get aware of it.
We talk it over and we get to a conclusion and we know it is right and we know how we got to that conclusion, we think we know, but next time we have the same question, the same confusion that means who knows how we got to the right conclusion?
Hence everyone must revere Truth. Sathya and Dharma(truth and righteousness) will not submit to anyone. Every kind of strength, physical or otherwise, will have to come under their sway. Success follows Sathya and Dharma.
What is truth, it is divine. It is non-changing, always true, it is light, it is beyond the body and the mind, it is eternal existence. We have to revere truth and how do we revere it, in serving it, do you agree? Every strength has to come under their sway. Now how do you understand this? We have to be able to see everything under their sway. From whatever side we look at it we get to the same conclusion, it is unchangeable truth and the same and that results in right action, Dharma. If we have truth and right action success is following them.
We remember that he said, we need three things, truth, right action and peace to have the experience of pure love. If we want pure love and we start with truth, if we accept truth, we also will have to accept right action and only if we do that, we can make the experience of pure love.
That many people have been in Swami's Darshan and have experienced that pure love, they must be very hungry by now for that 'pure love' and if someone tells us, what is real, it is all illusion. There is no truth in that, otherwise, she would not tell it the way she does, she would tell that we have to go beyond the unreal to the real, that is true.
Part of it is illusion and it is a mixture between true and untrue, we have to know how to separate them and if we don't have that truth, we also have no 'pure love' and I guess the result of it is 'pain', it is painful to not get to the divine unlimited eternal blissful reality in the midst of the ocean, to be in the waves, knowing it should be bliss and divine as it is the ocean, but we cannot drink the water, it is salty, so we stay hungry.
We have truth and right action and if we have those we also will have the understanding of peace, but only if those three are present, we can make the experience of pure love and if we think 'all is illusion', we already know that we don't understand truth or peace, or like she said, nothing is real and we looked at it and Baba said in the book of Hislop, 'My Baba and I' that if there are four things, decision, time, work, result, it is real.
If it is about 'right action' it is also about accepting truth, if we accept truth, we also accept right action and first decision and work and time and result and that makes it real.
At the beginning it was about the higher self, I had that experience during writing my diary and it was gone afterwards and nowhere to be found anymore and I was sure if I wanted to go in that direction, it would be there, but somehow it was not.
That much I knew it had been there and it was about self-realization and even if we couldn't find it anymore it still had bee there, that was sure.
There was a decision to wait until it would be there again and after it felt like watching and waiting, just a decision, but we have to go by it and I went on in my job and waited in that sense not for another and better job, but for the higher self.
It was difficult, it was a matter of trust and it was scary and it was not possible to explain it, nobody did that. It was strange, it didn't make sense what I did and it was against the feeling of common sense and it seemed different than it was and it was not possible talking about it, because I couldn't explain it, but there was nothing worse than that silence and keeping it for myself only.
In the meantime there was nothing but 'time' and it began to load and work, in that time I worked, there was a job to do and I did my best and in the end there was a result, time began to load, work was not what I wanted and it didn't change, it had to come from the inside and the higher self.
I applied interne for another job, but that was just a risk, because it could or it could no change.
And before I got the answer, there it was the higher self. It was in the dream stage and it was light, beauty and love only and that was the result, there was a decision, work, time and result, it was real.
It was done, it was what I had been looking for. Afterwards I wondered how it happened to be there and why nobody knew about it really and that is how I got the answer of Swami. First we need a decision and if there is time and work and a result, it is real and the truth we had to accept that we live in the age of ignorance and Swami is telling us why actually with his words.
That is real.
We cannot just tell everything is illusion or we have to tell the appearance is illusion, but truth is also there. Who am I ? That leads us to truth. The higher self is about that truth, but it is hidden behind it. If everything is appearance only, we have to find truth.
There is a difference between human values and no human values. We have a lot of fugitives on our boarders and as it seems mostly Muslims. We understand that it is a problem to see it only as human values, we have to think it over and accept that the church sees a conflict and how do we solve that conflict and Swami has the answer, the oneness of religion.
It means if we accept the truth of it, there will be also a right action and it will be followed by a result and if we don't see the truth, there will also be no right action, but it is understandable that some people are scared. It is kind of overwhelming that problem and another culture and another religion.
In turn these values will protect the Universe. Educated persons, who in the name of countries are giving up truth and right conduct, are actually undermining the human civilization. It is more vital to cultivate virtues than go after scholarship or other worldly riches and possessions of transient nature.
He is telling us these values protect the Universe, but it depends to our situation. What is true, we have to find it and think it over and what is the truth? We have to get aware of it and we should see the unity of religions or the fact that there is not yet a unity of religion and that seems rather scary or not? How do we not undermine the human civilization?
It is more vital to cultivate virtues than go after scholarship or other worldly riches and possessions of transient nature.
Swami talks just about the principle and that we should cultivate virtues first, it seems quite clear, but without thinking it over we probably will still not get to the right answer and to really know in such a situation what is the difference between cultivation of virtues instead of scholarship and worldly riches and the problem will be certainly also on the religious level. We really don't know what is true and what is not true and that is the truth we should accept.
