He is the Doer and Karma

Grief and joy, and pain and pleasure alternate like the dark and bright fortnight by God's decree, to foster equanimity and to lead man towards reality beyond both. If you do not attempt to transform yourself but resort to blaming God for your sorrows, it is incorrect!

You blame God because you announce yourself as a devotee too soon, and expect plentiful grace. Grace cannot be claimed as such; first God must accept you! Use your talent of discrimination to sift the trash and discard it in preference to the valuable. Engage in selfless service; flee from bad persons and win the friendship of the good and noble, who will cleanse you and heal you. Man is consumed by time; God is the master of time. So take refuge in God. Let God be your Guru, your path, your Lord.

Baba (thought for the day)

Baba is life, he is immortal being. Death is the body and related to matter and heavy and flowing downward and related to the mind and we get reborn if we are in the mind. It is natural law.

If we hear that business of business is the same as business of life, it is a wrong conclusion and it seems rooted in TM. TM did that - adabting the technique to the American dream, invincibility and all possiblitites. We cannot tell that Baba is business, he is not business, he is the 'I am that', he is the divine principle, 'I am the One'. He is ocean and we are the waves. 

He said in the 'insight' - 'congratulation, you got a new job', that is why we have to go on because he knows, we don't know. If as you said Baba is the heart and non-conceptual and therefore it is on the level of immortality, it is not possible to get to the conclusion that business of life is like business. If it would be on the level of business, there is no silence in the heart just reflecting on itself. The negativity resulting of such a conflict is by natural law going back to the one who thinks he is the doer.

To make sure we are not the doer and we do not get the Karma, we should use his words. 
We can go into self-enquiry and find truth, but we should not make wrong statements, that means we are the doer and not he is the doer and that way we cannot get aware of divinity.

We have to be careful. ABC, always be careful.

We should go for it. If it is 'only the mind' and not him, it is us only and it means we are the doer and we should not claim to know without self-enquiry, what is the following step after an insight, we have to go on until we are certain that it is understood and right, before we don't know and if we tell we know and we don't know, we are the doer. 

It is simple, if we are the doer, it is our Karma. If he is the doer, he takes the Karma.

If we think he is the doer, but we are still getting to the wrong conclusion that we know and therefore, we are the doer, we are just deluded and it is wrong understood and we still take the Karma. As he said, 'you didn't listen, you have to get a divorce'.

If we do not listen, we get the Karma.

Our first duty is to listen and to realize that he is the doer. 
We just go on, but it is reflected in the inner view whatever it is good or not good, we do not change the situation, he is the doer, we have to take it as it is. If we don't do our duty and we don't listen when Baba tells our message has begun …, we ae again the doer and not he, and the Karma is ours.

We have not much freedom in the mind on the spiritual path, but he tells us, 'know that you are God and be free'. If we know it, we are free, because we do it his way. It is rather stupid to follow the mind and trying to achieve the unachievable.

If we think it is business, we contradict our own words and we are not able to do it that way, between the ocean and the wave is not matter of business, but being, we are it. 
It is immortal life; we cannot separate life from divinity.

'I am the One' tells us that the ocean and waves are the same oneness. We are waves in that same ocean. That get us to the awareness of divinity. To see it like that needs courage, not to see it as business, that is just the mind.

The courage is to face the ocean and the waves, that reality in our own higher self and to go on no matter what obstacles are there, that is courage.

We watch in silence and get to the insight that it needs courage to face what is reflected in the mirror of silence. As it is silence, the mind has no business to understand it. It needs self-enquiry and listening to his words to understand it or to get to the right conclusion. 

Volition is needed, first it is a decision to live that principle to get to the right insight. It is like an inner commitment to the ocean, to see it as unity in diversity and not by diversity getting to 'unlimited consciousness', what we learned with TM. TM is adapted to the American dream to get lots of people into meditation. 

To see it in our own life has something to do with silence, it is a self-reflecting process, done by him, for him and in him; there is no business in self-realization.

If we realize that he is the doer and we are not the doer, we will go beyond the mind, we will be free of Karma, otherwise, we get the Karma that we think we know and in that moment we are identified with it and the doer. It tells us indirectly that we didn't enquire and we didn't listen enough.

Our first duty to him is to listen and to understand his teaching.

TM tells just take it easy and no need to understand it. 
'I am the One' is the ocean, everything happening in that ocean belongs to him only, if we think we are the doer, we get the result …, because we are deluded and live an illusion.

It is not about creating 'infinity', that was TM only. 'Infinity is all there is', we do not need to create it.

We think we are devotees, but we don't listen and tell that we are devotees too soon. He makes us a devotee, he has to accept us, but we do not get there in ignoring him.

He tells us always to use discrimination that means we have to do our best to understand it and he never told us to be just in silence and to just watch. But if we just watch in silence we will face in that silence the mirror of the watcher in our heart and get the 'insights', but that is different from the mind, because it is a reflection. It is not done by us, it is done by him.
