Remember the Divine, Remember 'Who I am'

People yield to delusion and become one with the darkness caused by false values and attachment to the unreal, the ‘me’ and ‘mine’. But the scripture (Shastra) is like a mother; she does not give up. She persists and pursues; she reminds you of your goal so that you will be saved. The scriptures are to be considered as the cause of the awareness of the incomprehensible, immeasurable and inexpressible Brahman. The scriptures are numberless, and a lifetime is too short. Aspirants are plenty; doubts and hesitations are numerous; steadfastness is meager. As a result, no one can claim full mastery. But you need not drink the entire ocean to know its taste; one drop is enough. Similarly, it is impossible to understand all the contents of the scriptures. But it is enough to grasp the important lesson that it teaches and put it into practice. The lesson is: constant remembrance of the Divine.
Baba (thought for the day)

How do we become one with darkness?
It is caused by false values, looking for happiness and the solution to problems on the wrong level, what is due to attachment to the unreal, what we think we are as Baba tells here the ‘me’ and ‘mine’.
What we think is all ‘mine’ or ‘my family’ is part of it. Why it is like that, because it is not permanent and just passing by in our next life it will look different. If today we are very rich on inner values with Baba and maybe on outer richness, next life we will have maybe nothing if the Karma is not good and we will not even remember, that is just passing by values, but the divine reality is real and will also be the same next life and it has been the same in our past life, therefore, we should focus on what is real only.
What is unreal is what is passing by. We were born somewhere and now we live somewhere else and next life we will live again in an all different environment and we will have no memory and we lived in a different way in our past life, it has no value, we cannot take it with us.
The only thing that has value and is good Karma is the divine and our work and sacrifice for the divine values and that means his message, not our message. Our message it is not eternal and based on truth is no message, as it is also passing by and temporary.
We will not remember it; we will just have good or bad Karma left.

People yield to delusion and become one with the darkness caused by false values and attachment to the unreal, the ‘me’ and ‘mine’.

The Bible is for us part of the scriptures and it begins with ‘first was the word and the word is with God and the word is God’.
The message is the same with Brahman.
First is the word, the ‘I am that’ is the Atmic principle, Baba is here only because of that principle.
That is the word first, it is what makes it. If there would not be a message, there would not be a divine reality. If we do not have a message, we are not different from others. The mind has no message, no divine message, the mind is temporary, only ++++the divine is true and eternal.

But the scripture (Shastra) is like a mother; she does not give up. She persists and pursues; she reminds you of your goal so that you will be saved.

The scriptures is the word and the word is the message.
Everything what is needed to get there we have to use, the intellect is discrimination. We cannot get the meaning of the ‘I am that’, without discrimination.
The intellect is the buddhi and the Buddha is the enlightened one, it is the intellect, buddhi that is enlightening. Only the intellect is able to see the difference between the mirror of the heart and just thoughts in the mind.
But the wisdom is in the heart. When we transcend we call it ‘pure consciousness’, pure being, but with Baba, who is the man in our dream who is there to awake us we get aware that it is ‘that’ and that is 'pure love' but without the intellect we don’t make the experience of 'pure love', because we have to accept truth and when we go the path of truth, we have to accept right action and we have to understand peace, only with those three things we can make the experience of ‘pure love’.
The ‘love’ we imagine to know is what he said yesterday, only imaginative faculty.

Many people slander image worship, but its basis is really one’s capacity to see the macrocosm in the microcosm. The value of image worship is testified by experience; it doesn’t depend on one’s imaginative faculty. What is found in the form of the Lord (Virat-swarupa) is also found, undiminished and unalloyed, in the image form (Swarupa). Images serve the same purpose as metaphors and similes in poetry. They illustrate, amplify, and clarify. Joy comes not through the shape of things but through the relationship established. Not any child but her child makes the mother happy. So it is with each one and all things! With each and every thing in the universe, if one establishes that kinship, that Godly love (Iswara prema), then truly an overpowering joy can be experienced! Only those who have felt it can understand.

What Baba tells us is only possible with the help of the intellect. There is no such thing as wisdom in the heart without discrimination, because the heart is the first one that is deluding if it is about infatuation and falling in love and that is blind love.
We cannot see if we don’t use the intellect, we just imagine the intellect to be on the mind level and that is not right. We cannot have the capacity of seeing the macrocosm in the microcosm without using the intellect.
Pure love is there after we transcended everything non-conceptual, it is the value of ‘that’ only, but we still have the ‘I am’.
We have three things also with the ‘I am that’ and those three things are subject, object and relationship. The object is ‘pure love’ and just called ‘that’, but there is still the question, ‘who am I?’ and that needs to be realized.
And we still have the relationship what is the being level, if we transcend the mind we have ‘pure being’ and that is the ‘am’ – just being, but it is a relationship between the ‘I ‘ and ‘that’ and therefore, we call it ‘I am that’, but we still need to realize who is ‘I’ and that happens with self-enquiry as Baba said, listen, think it over, absorb.
We have always the three levels like body, mind, Atma, or subject, object, relationship.

The scriptures are to be considered as the cause of the awareness of the incomprehensible, immeasurable and inexpressible Brahman. The scriptures are numberless, and a lifetime is too short.

If we take the Bible and ‘first was the word and the word was with God and the word is God, we have the same message as we have with Brahman. First is the ‘I am that’ and when we look for truth and observe, if we just watch, we will get aware that the word is with God and if we realize Brahman we become Brahman. If we realize ‘who am I’ we actually become God and that is what Baba always tells, ‘you are also God’, you have to realize it.
But without the word there is no realization of it that it is God and without the word and being aware that it is with God and that it makes us to his children using his words, we will not get aware that ‘the father and the son are one’.

The scriptures are numberless, and a lifetime is too short.

That is why we have to listen to Baba and why we always again hear that Baba is Veda and that he tells us what is in the Vedas and that he is the embodiment of Veda, the divine principle of ‘I am that’.
Our idea about love and that we know ‘love’ is not ‘pure love’, it is just imagination and therefore, part of the mind and imaginative faculty as he called it in yesterday’s thought for the day. To know that difference between what we think love is and what ‘pure love’ really is knowing that difference we have to use the intellect, not the heart can discriminate between our imaginative faculty of what love is and the testified experience of ‘pure love’, only the intellect is able to know what is the difference between imagination and experience and what is real and what is not real and therefore an illusion.
We have to listen to his words, because he is Veda, Baba is for us the scriptures. He knows them, we don’t know. He is the teacher, we are the students and we have to learn from him and that is only possible if we listen carefully and if we have no testified experience and we think we are ‘that’, but we don’t have the experience of ‘pure love’ and therefore, no discrimination between the imaginative faculty or our mind and its imagination of ‘love’ and the reality of testified experience of ‘pure love’, we are not able to know.
We might think we know, but in reality we don’t know and if we think we know we are also the doer and there is the feeling of ‘I-amness’ and being the doer and we are deluded and in the mind, it is all based on developing the imaginative faculty of the mind and not about developing pure love.

The message of Baba is in his words. Nobody is able to give Darshan like him. We have to listen to his words to realize his presence in the word. If we are together and share his divine words, we realize that he is present and there is the perfect orderliness in Brahman we know from our meditation time. The order and discipline is in the wisdom if we listen and we go by listening beyond the mind, we transcend the mind, we feel Baba’s presence.

He is telling us here as so often already that there are plenty of people coming to him, but doubts and hesitations are numerous and there are not many steadfast, it is meager.

But you need not drink the entire ocean to know its taste; one drop is enough.

The ocean is the ‘I am that’ and one drop is enough is the experience of ‘pure love’, one experience is enough, but we have to get that drop of experience. Even if Baba is ‘pure love’ he cannot give us the experience, we have to get to the experience ourselves by self-effort and that is why it needs steadfastness. Nobody can get to the experience of pure love if he is not holding on to what Baba said, first understanding peace and the fact that we have to accept truth and we have to accept right action and only if those three things are there, we get to the experience of ‘pure love’. So it is clear, not everybody will make that experience.
To think we know has nothing to do with the ‘drop’ Baba is talking about. He said it once in an interview, he said it to our group that we had no idea about self-control, because it is not in the mind but beyond the mind and all what we imagine it to be is in the mind and only developing our imaginative faculty. Only if it is testified experience we can actually know the difference and what means testified?
It is what happens when listening to Baba and thinking it over, we hear it in his words and we see the reflection of our own experience in his words and that is how it gets ‘testified’ by his words and by the scriptures. He is for us the ‘scriptures’.

Similarly, it is impossible to understand all the contents of the scriptures. But it is enough to grasp the important lesson that it teaches and put it into practice. The lesson is: constant remembrance of the Divine.

That is what he just explains here. It is impossible to understand the contents of the scriptures but it is enough to grasp the important lesson that it teaches and put it into practice and Baba is the teacher.
Actually when Baba left the body four years ago after he was buried all doors which were closed before where wide open and people were lying around everywhere, it was a strange moment and it was like the soul of the ashram had left and I wondered what happened to them and Baba said in the insight, ‘they have lost their leader’ and that is the reason I spoke about a ‘great leader’, it is because Baba said it in the insight that ‘they have lost their leader’.
He is the teacher of Veda, the principle of the ‘I am that’ and everybody who gets the message actually knows that the word is with God.
If we transcend everything and there is only ‘pure love’ left, there is nothing else but ‘that’ and what we realize by ‘self-enquiry’ that is about the ‘I am the One’ there is only one ‘I’, we are with the reality of God and the word which has been with God until now is realized as – the word is God.
It is not the body, but body and the mind are instruments only and it has to be a permanent and true level to be God, if we are on the level of the message with passing by values, we are not on the right level but in the mind.
Baba is the ‘word’, Baba is the message, Baba is the Atmic principle, the ‘I am that’. He is it, because he knows that the word is God and we have to start with being the messengers of God to be entitled to realize that we are sons and daughters of the divine and only when we have realized that, we are able to realize that the father and the son are one.
And steadfastness is necessary to get there, because it doesn’t happen in a few years, it takes time to realize it.
And that we have been with the Avatar, but we don’t understand that his is the ‘word’ and that the word is first with God and only after we are able to realize that the word is God, we have not even understood the basics yet.
We just have been with the Avatar, but we still have some work to do to get to the testified experience of it and only when it is testified experience, we know the difference between the development of the imaginative faculty of the mind and the reality of ‘truth’.
As long as we think we know love and we have not had the experience of ‘pure love’, we are actually not able to discriminate really and that is why we have to listen to Baba’s words. If we don’t listen there is no way we ever will be able to get closer to his reality and that principle of truth and it means we don’t find the right experience of it in our own self.

But it is enough to grasp the important lesson that it teaches and put it into practice. The lesson is: constant remembrance of the Divine.

It is enough to grasp the important lesson and put it into practice, but we have to grasp that important lesson and if we don’t listen to him, we cannot grasp that important lesson.
He is the word and the word is with God, the word is about ‘I am that’, the word is about ‘pure love’, but we cannot put it into practice if we don’t listen to the word.
The lesson is: constant remembrance of the Divine.
If we constantly would remember the divine, we would not go into temporary values and holding up height what is only temporary or it would not be possible to send us books like, ‘think and get rich’, that is temporary, nobody will care about it in next life.
It will be forgotten and it has nothing to do with the Atmic principle, the ‘I am that’, it is not part of the message of ‘pure love’ and pure being and the omnipresent reality of the Lord.
As excited that guy was about it and he thought it was great and intelligent, no permanent value is in it and it is of no importance during our death, but it will drags us down in the mind and the body attachment and instead of reaching the Lord, we will reach the Lord of death, Yama and go to hell and not to heaven.

There is no such thing like ‘think and get rich’ after death on the level of the Atma and it is not about getting wealthier and getting unlimited on that level.
Even if it is unlimited, if we die we have to let go and if we live for the future and in the mind it will be as it was with my father, the light will be far away like a small star and unreachable and in the moment of death only the present reality is real and only what we have realized. We get a new body according to our Karma and our self-realization.

If we think God, God we are, if we think dust, dust we are. (Baba)

Before Baba left the body in the insight we went in that deep well and there was only little water left and in going upwards again he dropped the body and it fell into dust and we still went up and there was Krishna and his brother, I guess it was Arjuna, he had a bow and that is the sign of Arjuna.
The body fell into dust. Everything what is related to ‘me’ and ‘mine’ and that includes my wealth and my family’s wealth is temporary and related to the mind, nothing of it will be there again in our next birth, it is all temporary and ‘think and get rich’ is not an unlimited value, it is relative and conceptual and that are passing by values. In the moment of death only our relationship to God and ‘pure love’ and truth and our higher self counts.

But it is enough to grasp the important lesson that it teaches and put it into practice. The lesson is: constant remembrance of the Divine.

We see from that example that the important lesson is not put into practice and that if he sends books about ‘think and get rich’ he is not listening and not to the word of Baba counts for him, but he went there also this year for about five weeks for holidays and just for a visit.
He doesn’t study the words of Baba, he doesn’t understand it and he doesn’t know what he is doing. He comes back from Prasanthi after five weeks and is able to send his daughter a page of one or two sides of text in an email copied of that book from ‘think and get rich’ and it was his explanation why he didn’t pay for her professional training.
It makes us feel like throwing up getting aware of the hypocrisy and falshood in it and even more so because we married it and as Baba reflected in the insight it was between three people that catastrophe in the air.
The message of God is one thing, the reality that we are not only not able to grasp that important lesson of his message and put it into practice is another, but that we had been in the ashram exposed to such bad thoughts and falsehood and violence afterwards and all that in the believe that it was Baba and we had to go on because we had to accept truth and we have to accept right action, and that is why we were exposed to it and even married it and got into it in the divine presence, that is another reality. But it is telling us indirectly in that way why Baba was in the insight present as vampire and with a very long nose. The vampire is not a good being and the long nose was fooling us.

We met in the ashram and the question is what did he do there if his only interest was money and wealth and he was sent there by someone and now he still goes there for vacation, but it is not a place of pilgrimage to him.
Without that room he had there he would never, ever have gone to Sai Baba, because he is not interested in it at all, he is just interested in feeling good and that is also Karma and it has such an evil result and Baba said that he was in the wheelchair because of it. It is certainly not good Karma, it is the example of not listening, of not trying even to understand it and it is on the wrong level  developing the imaginative faculty of the mind and he went there in the idea that he could just go to Baba and ask for anything he wanted and he would give it to him, when in reality we went to him to realize the higher self and that is about learning the lesson how we think constantly about the divine to realize the ‘I am that’.
