His Words and the Divine Presence

There is no need for a new religion or a new culture or a new philosophy, what is needed is only a pure heart. You should not give room for impurity or pollution in the heart. You can make your life sacred by following the golden rule: ‘Help ever; hurt never.’ Speak softly, sweetly and truthfully. There are two eyes to see different things, two ears to hear good and bad, there are two hands to do good and bad, but there is only one tongue to speak only the Truth. Embodiments of Divine Atma! Spend your life in cherishing sacred thoughts, listening to good things, speaking good words, and doing good deeds. If all of you adopt this path, happiness and prosperity will reign in the world.

The relative world or multiplicity is a mixture of absolute and relative and to be able to see the difference, first we go from multiplicity to duality. In our TM-meditation it said it was about 200 percent living, hundred percent relative and hundred percent absolute. There had to be meditation to get to the awareness of the 200 percent, as long as we don’t meditate, it is just a mixture and multiplicity.
It doesn’t work if we do not meditate and that is what Baba calls here churning the milk to get to the butter. If we don’t churn, the milk and the butter will not be separate and he is not churning it for us. We have to do it.

Every struggle to realise the unity behind all the multiplicity is a step on the path of Divine Life. You have to churn the milk if you wish to separate and identify the butter that is immanent in it.

Our past experiences with meditation are part of that struggle to realize the unity behind all multiplicity and a step on the path of divine Life.

Baba is present as the divine example, not for us to be adored. We should be able to realize that we are the same, divine, non-changing being level, which is our higher self. It got lost in our religion that is why the Maharishi and Yogananda and Osho etc. came to the West, because the West has lost the source of it.
Baba tells us we don’t need a new religion, he is not there to give us a new religion, we just need a pure heart. That made perfectly sense in his presence, but now in the West in the centers it still feels sometimes like a new religion, even if they sing also Christian songs, some still seem to look for a new religion in Baba and he is the Atmic principle, he is the ‘I am that’, as he is telling us again and again. Whatever we did, before going to Baba, it has to be there, because he is enlivening it from the inside.
We had been Siddhas and we should ask what are the sutras in the essence? They are good thoughts; Patanjali is the father of yoga, one of the biggest saints ever. The sutras are related to divinity and therefore, they are good. Friendliness or friendship is always good, they yogis are our friends, they separate the good from the bad, the conceptual from the non-conceptual, the true from the false, the permanent from the impermanent.
If we are just an actor, as the national leader was in the insight and he got shut down by a light ball, it is because he is not on the level of permanent truth, but he is in the mind, the mind is an actor. The light ball is the eternal light, probably it was like that in the insight, because he was the national leader and in that function he was at the place of the master, who was not there. Whoever is holding up truth or the light is only on the right place, if he is living it. If one doesn’t care about holding up the light, but only about playing the role …, it is not yoga and therefore, it is no friend and the principle turned into the opposite in no time. It makes sense for the intellect, but it was not a nice experience.
He was on top of the movement, but in that sight it was a pyramid, nobody should go beyond him, he was the highest place in that pyramid and it was hierarchical. But that is not really what I wanted to talk about; I wanted to talk about the mixture of relative and absolute.
Baba is telling us that ‘he is God’, he has that discrimination between the good and the bad, between non-conceptual and conceptual being, but he always told us we are God as well and we have to realize it. He didn’t tell that he is God that we adore him and we are human and he is God, that is duality. Human is mind and the two hundred percent are only possible if we purify the mind, because we can only experience the pure being or transcendental awareness if we meditate, do you agree?
That is a way to separate Sathva from Rajas and Tamas.
With Baba it is singing Bhajans, because it is about the heart and not all so called devotees are aware of it that it is purification of the mind and the heart. There are those who only pretend to be devotees and are not real devotees and in the inside was, ‘we are pirates’. The West has no respect for natural law not like India and so we are pirates, we do something, but we have no idea what we are doing, we are outlaws, he tells us to live by the law and that pure love is only possible if we first understand peace and we have to accept right action and if we accept the path of right action, we have to accept truth and only if those three things are present, truth, right action and peace, the experience of pure love is possible and that is law. With other words, if we are pirates, the pure love is not an experience here.
Pirates don’t care about law, they just want to live and they take everything what belongs to others for themselves. They don’t follow the law and the law is right action and Dharma, they don’t enquire about truth and they don’t listen enough to his words.
They don’t listen to Baba; in a sense they use Baba as past time activity to make them feel better, so the pure heart is still not there. The pure heart is only there if there is ‘pure love’. We should get aware of the two hundred percent, hundred percent relative, that is the way Baba tells it, ‘we and he is I’, relative is We – He is absolute, not a person, but the principle of ‘I am that’, the Atmic principle and ‘I’ is the divine universal ‘I’ and it is all about making that experience.
‘We’ is what they call the ‘Sai family’ it is all devotees and Baba, it is relative and conceptual and they stop there. ‘We and He is I’ doesn’t make sense if it is not right understood. He cannot be the form, because it is a non-changing, absolute principle the ‘I am that’ and even for Baba it is ‘He’, it is the principle only. But if we live that conceptual ‘we’ level and the non-conceptual ‘He’ – we get to the insight after self-enquiry that ‘I am the One’.
We are the same ‘I am that’, but all are the same and what happened was that it expanded to all and we get aware of it, you and I, but that is not what is meant when Baba tells ‘you and I’ he tells ‘devotees and I (Baba) are We’. If we don’t listen carefully, we will never get the right answer.
He is telling it to us, but it seems not to make sense. He tells us that ‘you and I are we’ and that in the next step, ‘we (devotes and Baba) and ‘he’ (divine principle, I am that) is ‘I’ and that is Baba, that is his realization, ‘I am the One’.
First, ‘you and I are We’ and second, ‘We and he is I’.
In the 'I am that' principle if we follow his words and we have to accept truth and we have to accept right action and we have to understand peace, if we have those three things, truth, right action and peace, there is pure love. That are the human values. They look different if we see them in that relationship between each other.
First it is about ‘pure love’ and it is ‘that’ only, but in the principle of ‘I am that’ we have still to get to the ‘I’ to understand it. ‘I am the One’, I am that, I am pure love, I am divine. It is 200 percent, 100 percent relative and 100 percent absolute, but it has to be realized.
If we don’t meditate we are on the level of multiplicity and that is the same here, with Baba if we don’t listen, we don’t even hear it and we don’t do it, we will not be able to realize it. And it is not possible without that we separate relative and absolute and for that we should meditate.
We don’t know good thoughts if we don’t do it and we project our thought about what is good on the mind level, the multiplicity and after all that has nothing to do with it anymore and it gets perverted.
We are actually fortunate that we know the Siddhis, because they are all ‘good’ thoughts and we can be sure that they are good and not what we project in the mind as good.
As Baba also said, the mind is only good for purification that is the same, everything we do on the relative level is for purification only.
If we didn’t do it, we didn’t live 200 percent, but only 100 percent multiplicity and like Charles we had bad thoughts, because we pretend to be spiritual when in reality we are not. That is natural law and nobody can go beyond natural law.
But if it was in the insight as vegetables, it must be because it is not put into practice, probably only a few, a handful and it is very difficult between them, the relationships are not easy.
If we think Baba is God and we go on just living our life, we are actually in ‘multiplicity’ and we think he is the absolute and non-conceptual and it is mind and duality and we have not understood the basic principle we practiced years before already, we meditated to churn the milk and to separate relative and absolute, it is impossible to live a divine life, if we live in multiplicity, he cannot do it for us, we have to realize it ourselves. There is no way Baba can give that as gift to anybody, it has to realized and it depends our Karma if we are able to do it or not and as he is telling us on divine grace.
And if we don’t understand what is the same and the truth behind it, we are not able to feel comfortable with it. We are not able to feel good with it.
It was in the first interview I had asked about my ‘friend’, boy friend, he switched on the spot to the Maharishi, yogis are our friends and that I had that feeling of friend because of that reason. And he said, that is very difficult to understand, he meant the insight and he knew that I had to listen to his words to be able to see the reflection of my own insight in his words to be able to understand it and he said, just think about God and I went on in that state of not knowing it for years and years until now it does make sense finally.
‘We and He is I’ – we are on the conceptual level of body and mind and Baba in the form is also conceptual, and ‘He’ is the ‘I am that’ is the insight, is the man in our dreams who is there to awake us and he is different from the outside form of Baba, he is not the form and not the name, he is just a principle and that is ‘I’, it leads with insights and self-inquiry to the realization that ‘I am the One and it is the reason why Baba tells, ‘I am God. I know I am God, but you are also God and you have to realize it’ and it seems people in the center are just adoring him to feel good, it seems it is much more passion and not Sathva and he said so, he said, stay alone it is passion; they don’t realize that their higher self is the same.
At least we know good thoughts, the Siddhis are good thoughts and we also know that we should meditate to live 200 percent and that it is not possible if we don’t do it, but there was no man in our dream to awake us and to get the right answer first we have the inner view, what is reflected as pictures and to understand it we have to find the reflection in Baba’s words. As he said, it is very difficult to understand.

Only his presence in your own feelings can confirm that it is right and that it is Baba, not words, his presence only.
