It is creditable if a human behaves as a human being. It is laudable if they behave as God, that they really are! But to behave as a demon or as a beast is despicable indeed! For, people were long born a mineral, died a mineral; then they promoted themselves to be born as a tree and died as a tree. Subsequently they got promoted as an animal, and finally rose to the status of a human being. This rise from one scale to another has been acknowledged by science and spiritual experience. Now alas, they are born as human and die as human. It is a greater shame if they slide into a beast or a beastly ogre. Praise is due, only if they rise to the divine status. That is real fulfilment of one's destiny. Therefore resolve today to avoid contact with vices, develop attachment to virtues, and transmute your heart into an altar for your beloved.
Baba (thought for the day)
In our last study circle someone mentioned that he doesn't think we need to be aware that it is about truth, right action and peace and only then will be there 'pure love'. We get to that idea because we relate love to a feeling. There was no opportunity to talk about it, because another person began to disturbed on another level and we had to take care of that and the focus was interrupted.
In the insight he said, 'use my words'.
In his words is truth and in our words is mind. If we use his words, we get to the insights, because we use truth. There is no difference of height. There is another difference, the difference of insights, not of height, the difference of inner view.
Baba has no mind, no clouds, there is sunshine and his words are talking about inner vision and truth. We have to understand that the level of insights is more developed in Baba's consciousness than in ours and why, the obstacle are in the mind. He has no mind. The mind is like the clouds overshadowing the sunlight. For him there is only sunlight.
If he is in the insight on the podium high above everybody like sitting on a stage and the people all were on a lower level, it is like he is acting God, that was on the mind level and just the reflection of people thinking he is higher and they are only people.
We cannot get there if we see differences. We have to go inside. The mind sees differences and that is the illusion. We are in the outer sense perception or we see it in the inner view, that is not the same, not higher and lower, but inner and outer. If we use his words, as he is a realized master, it is the light we share and we get out of the mind.
He always said that he is not the body and not the mind.
We absorb by listening to the truth in his words, that is the light and the clouds of the mind go away. The mind makes the difference between higher and lower. The light is in Baba's words to make us aware that this is not the right level to see a higher and a lower, we should be able to see no differences. If we want to get rid of the mind or the clouds; we have to listen to truth and the light, not to our own mind. If we listen to the mind, the clouds get thicker.
Therefore, by listening we can disperse the clouds. When he said, but we don't need to always think truth, right action and peace to get the experience of love, of course he is right, but he was years ago a TM-teacher and it means he has not yet understood it. With TM everything was learnt by heart and it is just out of that reason, so the mind had no power, also there the master's word were always repeated and why we understand only now. To get others into enlightenment, only an enlightened mind can enlighten the world, therefore, it had to be the master and his words and not our words; we would not be able to do it. If it is about truth, we have to use Baba's words, by doing that it is at the same time right action and we will understand peace. In his words is unity and in using his words we get rid of diversity. We have to use Baba's words, that is right action, thinking it over, seeing it in our own life, being able to absorb.
He is Atma. We cannot get on the mind level higher to be like him … that is a wrong way of seeing it. That doesn't exist, it is Maya, it is illusion.
It is not a difference of height. It looked like that in the insight and it felt like agony.
That is the mind, the difference the mind sees on the outside, between the avatar and just being a human being. In the insight is said seven million and they looked old fashioned living traditions in the mind.
In the inner view is no difference. He knows and we don't know. He is it, Atma and he has no mind, we have a mind. Because he has no mind, there is inner view. If there would be mind, there would be no inner view. We get aware of the inner view with him as he is the light and in that light the inner view begins to reflect.
Atma react, reflects and resounds. He is the Atma, pure consciousness, no mind; he is the light and in that light we get aware of the light in us, but there is also mind and that mind has to go away. The light is there in his words, if we repeat his words, we are holding up the light.
If we wait to get there that we understand it, we don't practice and we just get used to it and that are the habits establishing thinking after a while that it has to be like that.
People who have been years and years devotees come in the study circle and interrupt the circle, one comes in at 7 PM claiming that we have an agreement, just because he wants to sit down, there is nothing like an agreement, but he disturbed the others and he had not even some shame doing that.
It is passion and he doesn't know what he is doing.
He seems to have experienced it as passion and he thinks that it has to be like that. He is blunt, unconsidered and he shows no respect for Baba's teaching, even though he is a good singer and years ago he had been center leader.
And his wife interrupted the circle because she thought she had to tell and she criticized the circle, that means both were in the mind and not aware of it. They even do it in the name of Baba and that is only passion and lots of bad feelings behind and anger and frustration is also in the air and they bring it all in the center, the way they feel, think and load emotions on others under the pretext that it is a Sai family, what means they feel free to tell everything whatever is coming to their mind and speaking it out loud. There is a wrong notion about it in people.
Baba's body is not different from ours, only he has no mind and therefore, every word he tells is truth. We have a mind and if we want truth or Atma, we have to go beyond the mind and listen and use his words, in his words is truth. Not in his body is truth, but in his words.
Higher and lower is in the mind. Body is the same. If we are God we are the same, what prevents us from knowing that we are God that is the mind. We have to get rid of the mind.
By listening to him using his words, the darkness in the mind moves away and he is the light, he turns the light on. There is no difference on body level, as he is telling us always; it is the mind making that difference.
If Baba is in the insight higher up and all people are lower at his feet, there is a difference, that is the difference in the mind; all those 7 million are in the mind. The difference is on the level of perception, the senses and that is the mind. We have to first understand that only by listening to his message is the Avatar and the light, not in the body. We can turn the light on only in using his words.
We think it over, see it in our own life and remember his words and are sharing the bliss. As he is Atman and bliss, if we are able to share that in the circle without interruption, it is also bliss, we feel the bliss of Baba's higher level of consciousness, it feels great, there is happiness, there is rejoicing and jubilation – bliss.
When we understand that, we can be happy and why, because it is like it was with only meditation, we know what to do and it gets easy.
With TM we were twice a day meditating and no problem, there was nothing else really to do but sitting and going inside. With Baba we have to listen and see it in our own life and if we understand it, that in listening and using his words, he is the light, we can enjoy it.
If we listen and use his words, he is the light and that is right action and we will understand peace and there will be pure love, we can relax and enjoy it.
If Baba said that meditation is pleasure for the mind, if we do it, we feel better and we don't have to worry, problems get solved and are taken care of by regular meditation, knowing how, we can relax. When it gets difficult, it is no more relaxing and enjoyable, but it is the source for lots of worries.
We have to know how to listen and use his words and the rest falls in place, if we just go on seeing it in our own life no matter what obstacles are there, we get the right insight.
In using his words there is right action and peace and pure love, the source of happiness.
The source of happiness is love. Knowing it the heart feels good, it is not changing, truth is always true and will always be right and that is the source to happiness.
