People
have forgotten their real nature and believe that they are the
body, the
senses, etc. When these (instruments) crave for objective
pleasures, people
ignorantly convince themselves that this pleasure is wanted by
them! Under this
mistaken notion, they seek to fulfill the cravings. They
delude themselves that
they can secure bliss (ananda) by catering to the body and senses.
However they are
rewarded with disillusionment, defeat and disaster, and reap
pleasure and pain.
Though the objective world appears real, one must be aware
that it is deluding
us. As a result, one has to give up the yearning for deriving
pleasure from the
objects that appear and attract, both here and hereafter. The
false knowledge (a-jnana)
can be destroyed only when one knows the Atma (the
Divine Self)
principle. When the false knowledge disappears, the sorrow
produced by one’s
involvement in the ups and downs of the world of change (samsara)
also
gets destroyed.
This truth we have to accept it is a must. Only when false knowledge disappears, the sorrow gets destroyed and how is that sorrow produced? It is by our involvement in the ups and downs of the world of change.
And that is why we have to see it in our own life and accept truth, because without getting aware in our own life we don't get aware of the involvement in the ups and downs of the world of change, we are trapped in it and it is false knowledge. We have to find the reason for false knowledge and on that level we can only solve it with the divine principle of Atma, the 'I am that'.
The
false knowledge (a-jnana) can be destroyed only when one knows
the Atma
(the Divine Self) principle. When the false knowledge
disappears, the sorrow
produced by one’s involvement in the ups and downs of the
world of change (samsara)
also gets destroyed.
In my mother was pain, because
she changed a
lot with the years. When I noticed ‘joy’ in my daughter, there was the memory that it had been also present as child in my mother and there was no difference,
mother is God, it
is the same principle for all mothers, I realized nothing was
gone.
The pain
was destroyed, because it was my mother’s problem not mine and
the mother value
is still going on, but as long as it was sorrow, it was produced
by one’s
involvement in the ups and downs of the world of change.
And
that is what Baba
said, when he asked ‘how do you feel?’ and I felt great in his
presence and I said, 'fine Swami' and he answered, 'that is not true, up and down, up and down.’ That is
reflected in these words and in this truth, and we have to accept the
truth.
If
I felt the TM-national leader was still a friend still after all what had happened in
Seelisberg with him and others and courses and so called friends turning into the opposite and now they felt like enemies, it
was based on false
knowledge and due to the presence of the yogi. Only he was not
present as master
and therefore, there was no discrimination, but Baba said also
that it is very
difficult to understand.
The
false knowledge (a-jnana) can be destroyed only when one knows
the Atma
(the Divine Self) principle. When the false knowledge
disappears, the sorrow
produced by one’s involvement in the ups and downs of the
world of change (samsara)
also gets destroyed.
In
that
case it was binding and fooling. We excused everything what happened
with the
national leader because of the feeling of friendship and I
guess that was in purpose made like that. In the insight it was a pyramid and he
was on the top
of it and he was in touch with the Maharishi and the others not,
nobody could
pass him, behind him was the master and everybody thought he
understood the
master, what was all based on illusion. He was just an actor and
in the mind
and it was only about his role and not about yoga, while the
feeling of friendship
is based on yoga.
That is false knowledge and it only went
away with the
right insights, but to get those insights, that was really
difficult, because
we need to look inward and we need to think it over to
understand the insights
or to accept truth and we also have to accept what is right and what
is wrong
action.
I had no idea how difficult it would be to
understand it.
It always feels like friends again if we have involved with TM and I had been a TM-teacher. We are closer friends than my ex ever was on that TM-level,
because we have
more knowledge, he has no knowledge at all and no experience as
he never did
it. He just took advantage of it.
The
false knowledge (a-jnana) can be destroyed only when one knows
the Atma
(the Divine Self) principle. When the false knowledge
disappears, the sorrow
produced by one’s involvement in the ups and downs of the
world of change (samsara)
also gets destroyed.
When it is about false knowledge and that is why up
and downs
and only when the false knowledge disappears, the sorrow
produced by one’s
involvement in the ups and downs of the world of change also
gets destroyed. So the knowledge we got with TM was not enough to destroy the false knowledge that is why I went to Sai Baba.
We changed the master and with Maharishi
it was only
intellect and on the knowledge level and that is the problem. We
cannot
solve the problem of false knowledge with ‘pure love’, there
cannot be
any ‘pure love’ until the false knowledge is gone.
We have to accept truth and we have to get aware of the false
knowledge by
insights and listening to Baba's words and when we accept the path of truth, we also have to
accept the path
of right action and act accordingly and not ignore it and that
way we
understand peace and only if those three are present, truth,
right action and
peace, we are able to make the experience of ‘pure love’.
So
we
have to first accept truth by getting aware of the false
knowledge and love
cannot help us on that level and love will not be there as long
as it is not
understood.
False knowledge is also about the body. Baba has left the body and it is sorrow as long as we are attached to the body. If we get aware that he is the divine principle and that everybody living that principle is the same 'I am that', he was never in the body and he will never not be here.
That is the lesson we have to learn and we do not wait for another avatar to come and teach us the same, when we can learn it in the here and now.
