The Mantra in the Breath

Today educated people are proud of their Ph. D. degrees. What does the true Ph.D. mean? The letter ‘P’ stands for Person, ‘h’ for Help and ‘D’ for Divinity. Hence, one with Ph.D. degree is the person who helps others and attains Divinity. On the contrary, if one does not help others, then the letter ‘p’ will denote that he is a papi (sinner). You will attain everything if you protect your humanness.
Baba (thought for the day)

In the last few days I was focusing on the Soham, not because it was new, not because I had not done it before, because it was not just as a mantra, but related to the states of consciousness and it was in those three steps, breathing in as So into a transition state of just being and breathing out as Ham. It felt like first it went into the mind, our waking state and it relaxes in Ha in the dream state and goes in the deep sleep state in the m in just being or Samadhi and there we meet the hamming of the universe.
After a while it felt like nothing but God breathing in and out and today it ended like with the meditation with ‘not that’ in a feeling of love, just in that focus on the breath.
I was a great experience and there was a moment I was that surprised that it interrupted the focus and I fell out of my meditation and I was back in the mind.

It was just surprising how the heart reacted. It was about watching the breath, but in getting aware that it is God doing it and not the mind, the body is just instrument and it is just connected inside to truth. The heart reacts because the focus is on God and love and it is in the heart and there is love and nothing but ‘that’. This truth we find in ‘I am that’ or in ‘I am He’.

It was like that; the ‘I and he’ will merge, in the end it was only ‘he’ breathing because it expanded on all beings.

Visualize the God who is the inner power of all. With each breath you are positively affirming, "Soham", I am He. Not only you, every being thus affirms it. It is a fact, which you have ignored so long. Believe it now. When you watch your breath and meditate on that grand truth, slowly the "I" and the "He" will merge, Soham will become transformed into Om, the
primal sound (Pranava) which the Vedas proclaim as the symbol of the formless, allknowing God.
That Om is the real form of Divinity, the reality behind all this "relative unreality”.

That is way how we can get aware that the Om is the real form of divinity.
It is for everybody different how to get there, but for me it was important to make that connection between the transcendent state of being and I had that type of experienced before what we find in the ‘M’ and just being and from there it expanded into inhaling and exhaling, it is with So that the breath inhales and is with Ham that it exhales
The transition state is just transcendental being and that is also why it is not only hamming, but it is the OM the impersonal aspect of divinity, it manifests with every breath is the relative unreality and goes back into his unlimited being.

I got that text from a meditation manual and they call it advanced Soham meditation.
What for me matters is that the ‘m’ is the transcendental state we knew before. It is pure being and divinity that gets expressed in the mind with inhaling, So is the waking state between is a transition state which is just transcendence and pure being or consciousness, the same state of unlimited being. And it relaxes in the dream state, the U of the AUM or Ham – in the transition state into just being, a feeling of going back to the self and in the hamming M it ends in a non-changing state of consciousness.
I was used to be focused on the mantra and it resulted in being, if a thought came we allowed it to be there and if we got aware that we were with the thoughts and not with the mantra, we went back to the mantra and we kept our focus on the mantra and that is how we went beyond thoughts and beyond the mind.
And when I was repeating the Soham mantra with the breath, I was not aware of the different levels of consciousness or the transition states we have to got through in that meditation to realize that it is divinity breathing and getting back to silence. But to make that experience is great. It is the ‘I am that’.
But if we meditate with I am He, every living being is breathing, and it is alive in the inner divinity.
That meditation went through the different levels back to the self in our daily life and every moment and with every breath. So inhale is like birth and exhale is relaxing dream and insights and as both levels are unlimited we get to the ‘m’ it is just being and forgetting the world around us, there is no notion of time and space and that is why we can see it like death, there is no mind, the being level is unlimited and non-changing and beyond body and mind.
Pure being is always present together with the other states of consciousness and it is divinity. We are in a state of unlimited being and it is He that inhales and exhales and when the breath stops we go back to the self. There is nothing but that, expressed in ‘I am that’.
It was great to get aware of it in that manner and it was amazing when we noticed the love emerging from it and all what was needed was the focus on the reality, ‘I am He’ and now we try to share it and to find words to describe that moment of joy.
