The Building of Self-Realization; every Mantra is okay

Unless the foundation is strong, a building cannot stand firm and last long. So, the foundation is very important. You can construct any number of floors basing on a firm foundation. Self-confidence is the foundation. These days many do not have self-confidence. They do not even attempt to do anything worthwhile as they have no confidence in themselves.
How do you expect them to be successful?
If a person has no confidence in himself, what can be done for his progress? On the foundation of self-confidence are erected the walls of self-satisfaction. A man with self-confidence alone can have self-satisfaction. A man without confidence can never have satisfaction in his lifetime. So, the walls of self-satisfaction rest on the foundation of self-confidence.
Then the roof must be laid. Self-sacrifice is the roof. Gaining satisfaction out of confidence, one prepares oneself for sacrifice. You cannot live in a building without a roof. The roof rests on walls, and the walls, in their turn, stand on the foundation. Then, we live in the house. Life in such a house is self-realisation. So, everyone must develop these four `S's' - Self-confidence, Self-satisfaction, Self-sacrifice and Self-realisation.
Baba
The building Baba is talking about is strong. What is self-confidence? It is not on the mind level. It is not what we think it is. It has to be real, it has to be true.
Self-confidence to get a strong foundation. The picture last year before Baba left the body was kind of a pyramid, I mentioned the pyramid. That what the building. Decisions have to be self controlled, not mind controlled, that the foundation will get strong.
What is the difference? It has to come from inside, beyond doubt then it is self-controlled. And sometimes it needs to be even confirmed by a master to be sure.
Wait and go only for it when there is no more doubt. As long as there is doubt, we wait.
It has to be the self, otherwise, it cannot be self-confidence. Wait until it is sure, our limitations will be challenged, we have to face the mind to go beyond it.
Self-confidence trusts and knows it will be there, we have to get to the level of truth, the never changing truth.
That is the foundation and on that level are the walls, self-satisfaction, knowing it is right, inner trust in that self-confidence and the mirror which begins to reflect in that light of the self.
And the roof, what is Baba talking about when he mentions the roof? That is the level where we don't project the insight of the mirror into the relative level. But we will do it as long as there is not enough discrimination, as long as there is doubt and not enough knowledge. Because the mirror of the self reflects and the mind projects and will perceive it and the brain, if is doesn't realize that it gets fouled by that reflection which has a certain colour, will project it on the relative level again. That is the roof, being aware that the mirror reflects and that it is reflection and insight only, that is self-sacrifice, whatever is done, it is for the self only, not for the mind and the body, there has to be truth and realized ...
And then we can go into the house of self-realization and live in it.
But the thing about self-sacrifice is, we see it, Karma manifests it, Atman reflects and we have to realize that we are 'not that'.
Even if it is the reflection, love acts for love only, self-sacrifice, otherwise we get fouled by the reflection and put it into action.
Atman reacts, reflects and resounds. It is atman we see, but it is the mind which perceives and the brain which infers. (Baba)
Therefore, if we project it on another level than Atman is, truth, we are back in the mind and fouled by it. We have to realize that it is the Atman only and for that it needs self-sacrifice. To build the roof of the house, we have to realize the difference between truth and mind, reflection and projection.
Then the house is finished and we can live in it, the house of self-realization.
If we analyze that slander on which level are they?
It can be on two levels. The first level if it is not yet really established, the foundation is not strong enough, the self-confidence is missing.
Or they are on the roof level. They went to Baba and enjoyed the self-satisfaction of having enough self-confidence to get there, that is rather a relaxed state, but now they have to put the roof, and there is not enough knowledge, they don't understand it and the reflection in the self is projected on the mind level.
That is on the roof level. To build the roof is as much work as the basic self-confidence level.
To realize what is self-sacrifice we have to understand the reflection and how to sacrifice, the value of truth and God and what is not the higher self and why not. It needs spiritual work to build the roof, whereas, during the state of the walls we just can enjoy the self-confidence we have won, but it is not finished. A house needs a roof and that is the problem, the realization of the value and reality of self-sacrifice. That needs spiritual knowledge, it is not just given, it has to be deserved.
And what about TM. It is okay, all stress only, the reflection part is gone, straight to the roof.
But the is reflection there, the karma and not understood. The steps are not there, it builds up self-confidence, they enjoy the walls of the building, that is what TM-people call bliss, but the roof, here they do the opposite and ignore it and that doesn't work.
They don't project it in meditation, but they project it after meditation and not aware of it. That is mind level. The knowledge is learnt by heart and what they experience inside is not confirmed by a master, they seem to have a roof, but it lacks, it is not a real roof. They think they have a house and live in it, only the roof is not finished. Not being aware of the difference between projection and reality, between truth and illusion, believing the roof is done, it makes them blind. They are cut off the self, because they think the house is there, but it is not, the roof is not finished.
It is is not real, they meditate and think all is done, the house is built, and in the beginning there is self-satisfaction, the wall level, but with time it is less and self-confidence gets lost, because it doesn't work and there is a black hole, the foundation is no more there. Afterwards the path doesn't make sense anymore, but they don't know why because they believe in the house, but there is no house, so all is gone, the foundation is not there, self-trust lost.
In the end is a problem of the first step and of building a house, the foundation is not strong enough and they are lost, because it should be there, but it is not and they have no idea why and what is missing as it should be complete knowledge.
What to do? 'Just think about God', that is what Baba said. The mantra is a name and in the name is a form, realize the divinity and be happy, 'follow the inner master, fight to the end, finish the game', and like that we build the missing roof.
'Every mantra is okay', Baba said.
