Wake-Up Call in Baba Dreams

When you enquire earnestly in order to experience Prema (Love), the human being goes about searching for several methods. If we really want to experience love, Prema, we have got to understand what Peace or Shanti means. If we want to follow the path of Peace, we will have to accept the path of right action, Dharma. If we want to follow the path of Dharma, we will have to ac­cept the path of Truth. 

Here is a small example. Let us take Prema as the shining light. If we want to experience this shining light, we should have a bulb. If we want the bulb to glow and experience the shining light, we should have a connection to the bulb. By just a connection of wire to the bulb, the bulb is not going to glow. In that wire, we should have an electric current. Here we see that the electric current can be compared to the Truth, the wire can be compared to Dharma while the bulb can be compared to Shanti or Peace. If we call these three things, then only we will get Prema, the light. We may have a good new bulb. We may have a wire. Are we going to get light out of that? Unless there is current inside the wire, we cannot get the bulb to glow.

We have to go through that text about ‘love’ in the study circle and by preparing the text and in thinking it over, there is the meaning of the dreams you had, the three dreams before we went back to Baba what you understood as making peace with Baba.

In that dream Baba said that I had to come and make peace with him and here he tells us why, it is in his words. 

We all go to Baba because of ‘pure love’ and not because of career or wife, money etc. 

If we want to experience that ‘pure love’ without reason and without season …, we have to understand first peace and we have to listen to him.

It means we have to go the path of peace.

And that dream was followed by an other dream. In that dream of yours he said to me, ‘go back to your lovely husband’ and that he explains us here is about ‘right action'.

But it also tells us that you thought that he gave you a wife and that you said you had asked for a wife and therefore, you knew it was like that and it was not the right answer and no right action. We have to accept that is 'no right action' and we have to accept that he said instead, 'you didn't listen, you have to get a divorce' and that part is about truth.

If we have to accept right action, we also have to accept truth.

That is the meaning of the words in that Baba quote.

If we want to follow the path of Peace, we will have to accept the path of Dharma. If we want to follow the path of Dharma, we will have to ac­cept the path of Truth. 

If we go in direction of peace, we have to accept right action. 

What does that mean, it has to be right action, Dharma? It can also be not right action if we don't listen to him. The avatar comes to uphold Dharma, right action and he tells us that it is true for this avatar as it has been already true for Krishna. 

In your dream he said to me - what you wanted to hear, only it was about accepting right action. And it reflected also that you thought he was giving you a wife and in reality it was just taking advantage of it.

As it turned out he said in reality, ‘you didn’t listen, you have to get a divorce’, that was the ‘right action’, even if it didn't make sense to you and your mind and your friend you listen to instead of Baba said that there cannot be divorce and it took seven years to get finally to that divorce. It was all about right action and it was not that easy for you also this time to go for it, it took a lot of time.

Your dream that I should go back to my lovely husband, that reflected your expectation to get a wife of Baba and it was based on a dream and wish fulfilling thinking.

Baba is explaining it nicely and if we would listen to it, we would hear it, but we have to listen, otherwise, we do not hear it. 

If we have to accept the path of right action, Dharma, we also have to accept the path of truth. 

What is the truth? We didn’t listen, that is truth. It was based on a dream and wish fulfilling thinking. 

We went to Baba not that he told me to go back to my lovely husband, but we went to Baba for pure love, therefore, it was not right action.

If we understand peace and we are able to accept ‘right action’ and that was in our case ‘divorce’, we also accept truth, that is why it was not ‘right action’ and we didn’t listen to him and we didn’t understand the purpose of it and why we went to him.

If we call these three things, then only we will get Prema, the light. We may have a good new bulb. We may have a wire. Are we going to get light out of that? Unless there is current inside the wire, we cannot get the bulb to glow.

It means unless we have truth, that is the current inside the wire, we cannot get the bulb to glow, unless we have truth and all three things, there will be no experience of ‘pure love’, and we do not get Prema, the light.

The third dream had to do with a blue light or a blue person, it was about truth and getting aware that we went not to Baba because it was just before our daughter had to go to school and after that it would not be possible to stay with him for that long as we did before that. That dream was about accepting truth.

So there were all three insights in the dream, all three things. First we have to understand peace that was the reason of Baba calling back to him because of making peace with him. 

Second we have to accept ‘right action’and that he didn’t send me back to my lovely husband, because we didn’t listen, we had to get a divorce instead and that has to do with truth. Only if we have those three things we are able to make the experience of ‘pure love’.

We went to Baba not because of wish fulfilling thinking. It is the path of love.

After we have that experience of that love, we understand why and we listen to Baba because he tells us why. Only if we do not listen, we cannot know in our own mind. It is always a not right answer, because it is the mind only and the mind doesn’t know. 

Atma is beyond the mind and we have to listen to get the meaning in the dreams, because it is ‘He’ and not ‘I’. 

If it is about ‘I’ it is identified with the mind and the body.

If we listen to Baba and his words, we get aware that he talks about the three Baba dreams before we went to him and he also tells why we couldn't go back. 

And he explains why it didn’t work the way it was expected and it also tells that it has nothing to do with me, but with the path of peace and understanding peace and that we have to accept right action.

Therefore, it is not my processing, but it is about right action and if we accept the path of right action, we also have to accept truth. Therefore, also that is not my processing, but Baba, he is truth and we need those three things to experience ‘pure love’ and that is again not my invention or my mind, but the reason we went to Sathya Sai Baba.

The study circle we will be in the Sai center and it is also not ‘my processing’ or ‘my study circle’, but it is Baba, we have to do those study circles in the center and it is not my thing, but it is about those three things that we are able to experience ‘pure love’. 

Only if we listen and think it over we are able to absorb the meaning in his words. 

We have to see those three dreams together to get to the right answer. 

It was not only about understanding peace, it was also about accepting the path of right action and accepting the path of truth in those three dreams and without listening carefully to Baba our mind will not be able to understand it, we have to understand it with our heart and the insight, the mirror in our heart.
