Truth and Transformation

Speaking truth is the foremost quality of a human being. In fact, truth must dance on your tongue. To speak untruth and talk irresponsibly does not behove a human being. If you indulge in useless and indiscriminate talk, how can it be called truth? Before you speak something, you must enquire whether it is truth or not. Speak only truth which emerges from the heart. The entire world has emerged from truth and everything merges into truth. The clouds moving in the sky sometimes obscure the Sun; once the clouds move away, the resplendent Sun is fully visible. Similarly it is only when the dark clouds of resolutions and confusions in our heart are cleared, truth manifests. The five human values are not independent of each other. They closely follow one another. These qualities are God's gift to humanity. All human beings must manifest these five human values by practicing them.

How do we speak the truth. Last night during our meeting two women were aggravated and began to argue, all people were sitting already and the center leader had already his welcome address. The energy coming up between them was not good.
One lady I know as aggravated easily and even if she is not, she is constantly talking, it is rather a problem and we have to live with it, but I cannot live with that.

Speaking truth is the foremost quality of a human being. In fact, truth must dance on your tongue. To speak untruth and talk irresponsibly does not behove a human being. If you indulge in useless and indiscriminate talk, how can it be called truth?

What is truth? It is her way of seeing it and what is going on in her on the emotional level when she gets into it, she is cerainly not thinking of human values or what bothers her in that very moment seems that important that all have to know.
The energy changed, that has nothing to do with truth, but with negativity and stress and stain on the mind level or as we call it also too much outward focus or too much activity. I had already experienced that before and once we went to a weekend Satsang and as I didn't know her well enough, I invited her to drive to go with my by car and it was such a terrible experience, as I am used to meditate and to keep silence, she was constantly talking and I got that tired of it, I couldn't take it after a while and for me that was nothing but stress and it was not possible to tell her, she didn't stop even if I did so. It was a sign of  too much activity or it is also called Rajas, passion. For me it was the opposite we had learnt during meditation, it was our policy, less stress, more comfort, purify the mind, do the best for all as it is purifying also the collective consciousness and that was a very easy concept, we could do nothing wrong as long as we meditated and if we didn't meditate everything was wrong and she doesn't meditate and I didn't know how to take it, but I couldn't take it. I felt like overwhelmed by it and had not defense. They seemed to see all as family, not as the same, but as family and that gave her somehow the green light to put all the stress in her mind on me the driver and I had to listen to it as I had invited her in my car.
That was a scary experience and it has nothing to do with truth, but with that pseudo-dharma, they think family and in a family we can be our own self even if everybody is disturbed by it, no spiritual discipline.
If we tell what Baba tells, 'truth has to dance on our tongue', she will probably even go more into it as she thinks her stress is truth. At least it seems like we have to understands everything on direct mind level as true, if we go without discrimination into that, upset, anger, whatever it is, it felt that strange, who would do something like that. As Swami is telling us here it is untruth and irresponsible and it doesn't behove a human being. We can tell her, but will it help, will it do the job that she doesn't do it again, probably not. The energy fell down on a different level and just before Bhajans, no consideration for all the others and that they wanted to be in Swami's presence, but probably I felt it in such a way because of the study circle before. She came when it was finished and she sat down anyhow and that was probably not okay, because it had no purifying effect on her mind, she was not sharing with us, not enough to be on a different mind state and she came already through the door in such a mood that it felt like turning around and running away.
It is passion, Swami said in the dream, 'it is passion, stay alone' and that is what I did afterwards, but somehow everything seemed to be passion really.
I didn't know how to take it, how to be in that and most of all the divine experience was not present.
We talked about meditation and she said it was not her business that she preferred to do activity and it feels now like she uses every possible moment to put it on the top of everybody and to get her stress of in such a way, that is what we think when we meditate, either we take care of it in our own mind and we meditate or we openly share it with everybody what we called entstressing. In that sense she took advantage of the group sitting there to make them all feel her frustration in letting it out on them. It even felt like a kind of revenge.
The center leader said that we can look at it afterwards, what seemed to relax the matter, but it didn't really, as it was like waiting to go into it again after singing, what is really deviding the mind, we go for oneness and unity and after we destroy it again. It felt like nobody knew really what they were doing.

If you indulge in useless and indiscriminate talk, how can it be called truth?

Now that is the best example how we can indulge in useless and indiscriminate talk. And we know as Swami said it in the inner view, it has to do with passion and what to do, he also said what to do, 'stay alone'. This time it is for sure right and it is Rajas, passion and it makes sense to stay alone.
Passion doesn't know truth, it is loaded on an emotional level, it has to with too much activity. To get to truth we have to first settle down again or change the focus on all present as one, but if there is that much energy on the emotional level if we don't do something about it that energy has to come out somehow.
Time ago after a study circle we talked about meditation and she said that she was not into it, we know she will not change and probably with age she will get onyl worse. She goes into activity, but she is not able to take it really. She came already through the door in a bad mood. It felt like she used the others to act out her bad moods, everybody had to feel it how bad she felt and that we call a trouble maker.
She didn't see it as useless and indiscriminative talk and likely if we would tell her that with Swami's words, she would argue about it. When she spoke up the other was defending herself, we had one word again the other and the other tried to defend herself and we have a dispute between them.
That is how it began, it was in the air, it was open and clear that it would go on after singing.

Before you speak something, you must enquire whether it is truth or not.

If there is that much emotion as we know from passion, there is no way they can inquire, because the mood is passion and it has to calm down first, only Sathva knows truth.

Speak only truth which emerges from the heart.

If we tell her to speak only truth which emerges from the heart, she will also find words and backbite and what was behind that in my memory was all the headaches I had felt in the past dealing with those people, what was in the air was the headache, I tried to find Swami and I went on no matter what obstacles were there and I had constantly headache and when I listen to that on the spot the memory of the headache was back.

The entire world has emerged from truth and everything merges into truth.

We cannot change it on the level of words. After singing I left because I didn't want to talk about it, stay alone means no comments neighter positive nor negative, just staying alone and getting out of it.

The clouds moving in the sky sometimes obscure the Sun; once the clouds move away, the resplendent Sun is fully visible.

That is what it is, clouds and they will move away, but until they moved away I know I have to stay alone, so to know that was good, to know that it is passion was good, it was like getting back into the past and it was all very difficult and as we had experienced it years ago. They had a birthday cake and I just left and didn't talk with them anymore. I had to get out of the energy to be able to stay alone and not start to socialize.
Staying alone means not being alone. In the ashram we had to stay alone, Baba always said stay alone, it was a training to stay alone in the midst of all the people. We can also be present and stay alone, if we manage to not talk about it and not taking sides, but as it was likely that it would happen anyhow if I would stay, I just left so the memory is the headache, but today I felt okay and there was no headache.

Similarly it is only when the dark clouds of resolutions and confusions in our heart are cleared, truth manifests.

Mediation is a way to get out of the clouds, singing is a way and being near the Lord that is selfless service not the activiy she thinks it is. He is the doer, but in her way of activity, she is the doer and not he is the doer and that is why it will create frictions and problems. When confusions and resolutions in our heart are cleared, truth will manifest, but if she doesn't listen to Swami and she didn't, how can any resolutions in the mind be cleared. It is the ideal that gets purified what feels good to us, but the mind doesn't understand it.
Everybody has some resolutions and confusions in the heart and they need to be cleared, otherwise, we would all be enlightened.

The five human values are not independent of each other.

With the help of the study guide for love, Swami's words were explaining it nicely, we have to accept truth, truth is not changing and if someone thinks that there are all different truth in everybody it is not about the oneness, that is only one truth, but it is always self-referral, that part is always true.
We have to accept truth, we don't have to accept untruth and if we accept truth, we have to accept right action and we don't have to accep not right action and if we understand peace and that there is no reason for arguing, it is for all the same truth.
We have to understand peace, we all have to accept the universal truth and we all have to accept right action and only if we have those three things, truth, right action and peace, we are able to make the experience of pure love.
When we meet like yesterday in such an energy again like pressured in the past by some unseen hand in the background and what had been present years ago as passion and even before Baba left the body and nothing but passion it was again, that is how it got clear what his dream said, if it is passion, that is the meaning of 'staying alone', we get taken in by arguments, we have to take sides and say something and in that moment we are not able to stay alone, we get entagled in it.

They closely follow one another. These qualities are God's gift to humanity. All human beings must manifest these five human values by practicing them.

Here he is making clear what the gifts are when he speaks about gifts to humanity?
These qualities are God's gifts to humanity. Swami is telling us – truth, right action, peace, love and non-violence are God's gifts.
If there is no truth, no right action, no peace and no understanding, how can there be love? It is like the soil is not ready for pure love to grow.
If pure love is only possible if the three qualities are there, truth, right action, peace and they have to be  are present, it means if there is no truth, no right action, no peace, it is not God's gift and there is no love. Only if we listen to Swami's words we get aware of how they are dependent on each other.

The five human values are not independent of each other.

His words, not ours, we are in the mind. If we don't listen to his words, we don't listen and do not hear it.
If we listened to the divine words, we can see how they are dependend on each other, but he doesn't explain it today in these words, he explained it some other time and if we didn't listen and we didn't study his words, we missed it. We have to listen to get deep enough into his wisdom, just reading is too superficial. If we would not have listened before, he doesn't tells us how today. It means more or less we have to be constantly awake, alert and absoring it and we have to listen we have to be able to grow in our insights.

All human beings must manifest these five human values by practicing them.

If we talk about love and we don't practice the human values, it is not real.
If we are telling her all human beings must manifest the five human values by practicing them and there is still passion, she will backbite and just make it look ridiculous. We have to tell it in a moment when there is no passion and silence and sathva again and when we can think clearly and it is not an amount of hidden energy behind it making itself air in such a way like a heavy emotional baggage.
With meditation we sit down and meditate and we get rid of stress and tension in the mind and she is like vomiting her frustration into the present and to people in the group ready to share Swami's love and all have to listen to it, it feels like punishment of revenge and all have to feel it.
During an interview there was the shadow above a person I had to translate for her and Swami said not long ago that we have to follow the shadow.
The shadow is not real, it falls away, it comes with the light. Baba is the light and if we don't go into the light, there will not be a shadow following us, we know it follows on four paws and if we look at it from the light of Trauma healing what seems to be a similar state to Arjuna in the battlefield unable to act, because he sees people of his own family on the other side with the enemy and he doesn't want to fight. It is getting aware of the inertia and unablity to act and how we have to look at it to be able to it out of the inner knowing that it is a duty.
It is a state of inertia, not being able to act as the heart is in confusion and that we find also in Arjuna and only when they are cleared and in the Bhagavad Gita they are cleared by Krishna, truth manifest.

Similarly it is only when the dark clouds of resolutions and confusions in our heart are cleared, truth manifests.

Something similar I found during the inner child workshop in the book of Peter A. Levin, it is the transformation power, the inate capability of transforming extreem experiences and to heal it.

Waking the Tiger normalizes the symptoms of trauma and the steps needed to heal them. People are often traumatized by seemingly ordinary experiences. The reader is taken on a guided tour of the subtle, yet powerful impulses that govern our responses to overwhelming life events. To do this, it employs a series of exercises that help us focus on bodily sensations. Through heightened awareness of these sensations trauma can be healed.

Krishna is in the role of the therapist clearing doubts, showing Arjuna the way and that he has to fight because it is his duty. If it is our duty we have to do our best, if it is not our duty we should let it be. Better doing our duty very good than another duty.
We have to keep the focus on our duty. If people don't know what they are doing, they argue because they have no sense of duty and we don't find that in the Indian devotees. They stay out of it and in distance and never lose their right behavior values. They are like the good angels in the background making us somehow feel better when we have a lot of troublemakers as it is not right understood.

Swami said that he is the man who comes in our dreams to awake us, but he was also in the dream as a leopard and that had something to do with that transformation power, in the dream it was not a tiger and first I thought it had to do with the body consciousness and in a sense that was not wrong as well, but it has also to do with wakening that power and he was in Darshan pacing back and forth always.
When looking at it on that level it is much easier for the Westerners to understand it right and not take of in phantasies about divinity in heaven instead of seieng as out own mental potential.
We can tell it is a similar message we find in the Bhagavad Gita, only it is not the divine Krishna and the complete teaching of the divine as it is with Arjuna, but it has to do with the awakening of our own latent power to transform the energy. It helps to understand it right and to get away from the idea of dualty to the underlying oneness.
It shows us a way to deal with the dilemma in a western way as Krishna did with Arjuna and by that we get to a more realistic approach to the divine reality in all of us.
