The Roar of the Divine Lion

Hatred does not exist in God's nature; He is all mercy and full of love!
Lord Krishna proceeded to the Kaurava court, as a messenger of peace, with compromise proposals to show how one should be patient and self-controlled, when provoked and during difficult times. The Lord has no favorites or rivals. Like fire, He spreads warmth to everyone near Him. If you do not feel the warmth, do not blame Him; instead blame yourself that you are far from Him! Hiranyakashipu said, 'He is nowhere' and so, He was nowhere for him; Prahlada asserted 'He is everywhere,' and He appeared from the pillar to prove him true. God did not have to run into the pillar in order to come out of it, to reply to the challenge of the father.
He was there all along, just as He is in everything else. He had only to make Himself visible! Take Him as your charioteer. He will steer you through the heaviest odds.
Baba (thought for the day)

But also God is not involved in a personal relationship, he is always out of it, bigger than the bigger, smaller than the smallest.
But the relationship of Lord Krishna with the Gopis reflects the divine relationship. He was the strongest, he was invincible, like superman, the strongest enemy had no chance against Krishna and for me it felt great to read those stories, the author was a college professor and they were adventure stories better than Superman and especially in Baba's presence, it became alive because of him, I read the books during the time I was in the ashram, several books, about seven or nine.
And it also felt good reading it in Geneva, in my twenties, I liked it, because Krishna was not crucified.
We know that God exists and we have to find it in our own self, but our fight is that of Prahlada.
His father was one of the biggest demons of his time and he was already born in that family to destroy that demon, because he was that powerful, nobody could destroy him but God himself. He sent his great devotee Prahlada with that task in that family and it was incredible what that demon father did everything to destroy the boy, he had to endure awful tests and the father was madly fighting and arguing with him and trying to kill him in all different ways, that much he hated God.
As the boy said that God is everywhere, the father screamed at his son, 'is he also in that pillar?? hitting with his sword at it and in that moment pillar transformed itself in Nrsingadev. God took the form of a lion to be able to fight that demon.
The demon had done that much Tapas, penance, he got a divine boon and he had asked that he would not die at daytime or at night, not on the floor or nor in the air, not by a human being and not by an animal, not in the water and not by a weapon etc. He wanted to be immortal and invincible.
So God took that form of Nrsingadev, he was neither human nor animal, he was both. He looked like a big lion appearing in the pillar with a lion head and he took the demon on his lab, that means he was not on the ground and not in the air and he was killed by the claws of the lion and it was not an animal and not a weapon.
Whatever trick our mind uses to be cleverer than divinity, it is always beyond it, bigger than the biggest and smaller than the smallest, it always wins. That is a great story.
I also liked it because somehow it always felt sad to face the crucifixion of the Christ, even though there is no difference when it is about ego, it is also crucified, but it is not the main focus like in Christianity.
The mind and the demon is an example of the biggest ego and God had to come down, had to incarnate and take a body to kill the demon to restore Dharma or natural law on earth, because the demon was too powerful and he began to disturb natural law.
That is what Baba tells, whenever there is evil that gets too strong, he incarnates to restore balance on earth and to uphold and restore the natural Dharma.

It means we have to believe in him first, before he will prove himself to be real and true and be there, but it has to be a real matter, if it is only a dream, it will not work. Everybody has a mother, but to realize the divine principle we have to go beyond the body and the mind and see it on a level which is never changing and always true and that we can experience in our own self.

Take Him as your charioteer. He will steer you through the heaviest odds.

When I read stories about Baba, I often think people went only to him to meet miracles, but if we have to face that reality of such a father and got challenged like Pralada and we had to go through the heaviest odds, that is not about miracles or at least not that fast.
If it said that my brother does the worst he can do, I guess he is on the level of a demon what-else can be for him the worst?
Following the inner master, we get to a certain conclusion and it is not always as it looks in the inner view, because it is not about the insight, but about the right conclusion and how do we know the conclusion is right?

Follow the master, fight to the end and finish the game, (Baba)

Do you know what is the difference between the master and our own mind? How do we know?
We need to use discrimination.
Facing an insight which gets repeated like it was in the inner view about 'amok run' ... somewhat, somewhere, in my field, I begin to think about everything I didn't finish and what had to be finished to address what had been avoided, for whatever reason.
My younger brother seems to be on that level of a Hiranyakashipu, only not as powerful, but time ago I got an SMS murder threat and in the inner view it said - amok, seven and tonight.
I don't know, there is only that level brother, therefore, if it is not the father, if it is someone brother and what about amok ... sounds scary and what about seven killed, even more scary and how do we do our best and address it?
Maybe it is about that guy who works for the 'exit' firm and tonight seven will be killed? How do we know? In doing whatever has not yet been finished and what has to be done, I had to answer that awful SMS.
I let him know that he is nuts, that he has lost his mind and that he is homicidal and a public danger and that I don't care about having anything to do with him anymore.

Hiranyakashipu said, 'He is nowhere' and so, He was nowhere for him; Prahlada asserted 'He is everywhere,' and He appeared from the pillar to prove him true. God did not have to run into the pillar in order to come out of it, to reply to the challenge of the father.

But after I wrote it, it is not strange anymore, it means the game was not yet finished.
The inner master used the pictures, they have to be alarming enough to make me go for it 'now', not tomorrow or after finishing thinking about it, somewhere in the future, it had to be now and it is the first thing I did this morning to get it off my mind.

As often, the thought for the day seems just made for it, like Baba behind an unseen hand holding the strings.
I am not scared anymore, I am not scared of the amok, it just needed to be done and finished, for whatever reason.
He wanted me to get scared and that is how we show him that I am not scared at all of him, but that I just don't care about him anymore, because he turns into a monster.
We are the instrument, we listen to the inner master and even if the mind doesn't understands it, we act accordingly, it just means to follow the master. In that sense it was about that first insight, when he said, that he does the worst he can do and I asked him what he did and that is the result of it, after all - the killing threat.
I worried about him and in the end I have to worry about myself?
That was a story over years now, it began the mother was still alive and it was never spontaneous, there was always enough time in between that there is not connection to what had been before and now it is the answer and the following step of the first insight that he does the worst he can do. He has lost his mind and is homicidal, he is not only a danger to himself, but to others as well if in the inner view it is about amok and seven will die.

My mother said when she died I should keep the family together, but being the oldest I am in the role of the father and as it seems what is reflected is that authority level and they feel like worms.
But in my inner view it looks like, if he runs amok, just do everything what has to be done as long as there is still time ...

Strange ways the inner master goes when it reflects the father, but not aware of it and now it is not strange anymore, he just tells me inside to act the way that I get it ... if I do not see any danger, my mind cannot see the need to tell him that I think he has lost his mind and that he is nuts. And it seems he needs to be told, whatever the reason, if he wants to kill me or not, that is not the point, who cares. Now I feel like laughing at it and like the roar of the lion.
That is the meaning of today's thought for the day, if we trust in God, he knows a way out of it and we will not be crushed by fear like worms, but we will be roaring like the lion Nrsingadev, it is the divine lion.
